How to prevent PCB short circuit?
1. In case of manual #welding, the #PCB board shall be visually inspected before welding, and key circuits (especially power supply and grounding) shall be checked with a multimeter to see if there is a short circuit; Each time a chip is welded, use a multimeter to measure the power supply and ground to see if there is a #short circuit.
2. Open the PCB diagram on the computer and light up the short circuit of the network to see which is the closest and easiest to connect to. Special attention should be paid to the internal short circuit of the IC.
3. If a short circuit is found, take a board to cut the wire (especially suitable for single/double boards). After cutting the wire, power up each part of the function block and eliminate some parts.
4. Use short circuit location analyzer, such as Singapore PROTEQ CB2000 short circuit tracker, Hong Kong Lingzhi Technology QT50 short circuit tracker, UK POLAR ToneOhm950 multilayer board circuit short circuit detector, etc.
5. It is necessary to be careful when pasting capacitance welding on small size meters, especially the power filter capacitors (103 or 104), which are large in quantity, and are easy to cause short circuit between power supply and ground.
6. If there are #BGA chips, it is better to design the power supply of each chip, with magnetic beads or 0 Euro resistance connection, so that when the power supply and ground are short circuited, disconnect the magnetic beads detection, and it is easy to find the chip.
