I would like to continue to share with you the body of work that my team and I deliver, to help people become confident and fully present communicators and leaders. Below and here you will find a link to access our free Voice is Power? Masterclass webinar recording, in which we share with you how to...
- Transform Your Communication Skills
- Enhance Your Leadership Effectiveness
- Maximise Your Career
- Increase Your Business and Commercial Success
- and Ultimately Become an Impactful and Influential Communicator
Whether it's one to one, one to a few or one to many, it's so important that what you say is delivered with confidence, style, positive authority and passion, so that you communicate with impact and influence.
Not only does your message need to be finely tuned for your specific audience, striking a chord and getting to the heart of the matter, but you absolutely need to become consciously aware of your delivery, i.e. the quality of your voice, the projection of your voice and the intonation of your voice. We call intonation voice visualisation and that means breathing life into each and every single word in order to convey it's meaning.
If you don't ask yourself the question, why does this person, team or group of people need to hear what I want to share with them, and if you don't tell them why you are talking about it, you run the risk of getting the "So What!" factor.
If you then deliver your message in a flat tone, or with a soft voice, or you speak too fast and meld your words together and don't pause between the bite size chunks, people will zone out and switch off. We all know that. We've all sat through it before and nodded off. Sometimes, gosh, we may even have been guilty ourselves of sending others to sleep!
Oh and if you want to make triple sure you send people off to another zone, just cram as much data and information on to your slides so that no one can read them.
Voice is Power? is a carefully designed system to help you maximise your communication and leadesrhip skills, so that when you speak, people sit up and take notice for all the right reasons.
The system is in many way likes a fitness routine and when you practice the steps on a daily, or very regular basis (it takes just 10 to 15 mins each time), you will become fit in the arena of communication and leadership. This means that you train yourself to embody the skills and methodologies required to enable you to deliver with confidence, style and passion, no matter what the content or the context. It becomes second nature because you are fit.
Voice is Power? centres around a core theme of Six Pillars. Each pillar is a short exercise. The image below shows the Pillars.
So, if you want to present and communicate with impact and influence, please sit back and enjoy the learning and coaching journey through the Six Pillars (and a bonus 7th) with us right now on our free Voice is Power? Masterclass webinar recording.
I really hope you get a lot from the recording. It was a joy to produce and present it on Thursday 17th August and we are very excited about the launch of the live teaching and coaching webinar sessions. It all kicks off this week, 21st August.
As always, I welcome your comments, input and questions below.
