? First of all, I thoroughly went through my CV and tried to recall?? every aspect I did in that area of articleship.

? Even if you have done 1 audit, prepare yourself in such a way that you are able and confident?? to answer any twisted?? question.?? In case of BIG-4s -

Be prepared to be tested??on lot of academic?? areas like

~ Assertions and it's types

~ Materiality and it's types

~ Types of opinions

~ Entire SA 700 series

~ Ind AS 116 COVID Ammendments

? Further they might give you with a actual case study and you need to answer it.

??In my case : Ind AS 115-

??I was asked the Revenue Recognition in case a telecom company sells "SIM card" and "3 months Recharge" in a bundle.

?? In Case of MNCs -

Can be tested on any areas mentioned above & Further can test recent?? happenings in the business?? world.

?? 2. How did I prepared my CV???

??ANS :

? I used a very Simple format available with MS word Template???

? You can use any subtle design for your CV, but it should be " EXTENSIVELY CONCISE YET INFORMATIVE "

? I used website like ?"resume.oi"?for templates and key words.

? I used the complete guide ?"The Harvard Business school"? gives to its students for preparing their Resume. (Can DM if you need the same)

??3. "I am not good at English??, will I be selected"?

??ANS :

THE ANSWER IS -- "YESSSS"!!!?

Nothing in this world can reject? you for your weak English, until and unless your English is understandable?? and you are good in written English??, noone can technically reject you.

If your designation requires you to work with foreign clients??, you will need to improve yourself with English.

Some Tips..?

? Listen English Podcasts???

? Read English Newspaper??, preferably Economic times or Business Times

? Try talking in English with friends or try it in front of a mirror.

Remember! English isn't a rocket science??, you can master the basic English in just 6-7 days of practice!

?? 4."How to increase the chances of Selection?"???

??ANS :

Ultimately everything settles to a single point - "PRACTICE"??

Try to attempt as many off campus interviews?? before your actual interview as you can!

If not possible, as your CA Qualified Friends to take a mock interview.

But only practice will increase your "CONFIDENCE"?? and inturn your chances of Selection? will increase.??

?? 5. "How to apply for 'OFF CAMPUS INTERVIEWS'?"

??ANS : There are two options--

?FIRST : REFERRALS - ??

You will need to find someone who will refer you for the specific designation in the desired organisation.

You can find such people either in your vicinity or on platforms like LINKEDIN.(How to ask for referral will be a topic for next post ??)

?SECOND : JOB PORTALS??

You will need to create your profiles on all the free?? available job portals like

2. Indeed

3. Glassdoor

4. LinkedIn

5. Monster.com

The recruiters???? check your profiles and contact you for the openings.

Even you can apply for the openings listed?? on the portals.
