During a job interview you will most likely be asked some?behavioral questions?that probe into how you react in?different?situations..?That means they all start with:?"Tell me about a time when."
Here are some examples: Tell me about a time when...
1) You disagreed with your boss.
2) You did not reach your goal.
3) Your customer was not happy with your service
4) You failed at an activity
5) You had?to convince your?team or your staff to go in a different direction.
The purpose of asking these questions?is to find out how you handle difficult situations, how do you recover?from a mistake, and how would you do it differently?the next time.?No one expects you to be perfect, so prepare some stories about?your work life that show?you can learn?from your mistakes and you can change your behavior.
Remember:?When you hear the interview ask, "Tell me about a time when..." be prepared to say what you did, what you learned, and how you would do it differently the next time.
