1. Stop protesting and accept that it is the need of the hour.
2. Brief your family on the necessity & assure them that together you will brave this storm.
3. Get every member especially kids to commit to cooperate.
4.. Take note of your cash reserves, cash in hand works better at this juncture.
5. Take stock of your kitchen/store reserves...actually sit & write down what u have in stock (don't trust your mental assessment here).
6. Plan meals for the first 2-3 days utilizing all highly perishable items.
7. Estimate how many days staples like rice, wheat, grains would last.
8. Menus would have to be Spartan and Minimalistic.
9. Take stock of regular medicines needed by elderly or others.
10. Items like Soap, toothpaste may have to be rationed ...cut bars into half.
11. If u have packaged food... Save that for the last with an eye on expiry dates.
12. Rid your fridge of all those bottles and stuff & make room for essentials.
13. Refrain from tidying up and dusting old stuff, u could trigger a dust allergy.
14. Stay away from ice cold water... You don't want a sore throat at this stage.
15. Get 10-15 minutes exposure to sunlight to keep vitamin D levels okay.
16. Prepare a list of essentials to buy...nothing fancy just essentials...
17. Limit your shopping trip to ONE visit per week (if your local grocer is open).
18. Buy essentials based on a sensible estimate...do not try to stock till 2021.
19. Make sure everyone at home gets to exercise for some time.
20. Don't do any strenuous work out... Injuries won't help at all.
21. Arrange visits to the pharmacist / medical shop together with neighbors to avoid too many people going out... See if online options work.
22. Be wary of currency notes and coins... Store them in a closed box...wash your hands after touching them.
23. Do not panic...stay calm and have faith in your govt... If u really run out of supplies...we are sure a help line number will appear or is already available.
24. Consider pooling resources with neighbors... Even grocery...nothing to be ashamed of.
25. Drink plenty of water and keep your self hydrated ...most important keep your self and family healthy and happy... Mood swings will be there... Keep tempers low.
26. Make sure all your bills are paid online... especially Net and Power bills.
27. Share house work with members of the family... Your maids wouldn't be around for some time.
28. Kids are likely to get cranky... Have plans A B C D E till Z to keep them engaged... Plenty of stuff available on line... Riddles, games, DIYs etc.
29. Set aside time for prayer... Pray like there is no tomorrow... When everything fails Prayer is bound to work... Pray that things get better around the world...
30. Say nice things to people online and offline... Keep spirits high...take extra effort to keep yourself happy... Happiness is a great way to fight disease...
All the best and GOD Bless
