Premiumbikes wanted to design experiences that would help increase motorcycle sales. The team spent 1 whole day for an ideation and prioritization workshop with the JG Summit Digital Transformation Office (DTO). Both teams’ goal after collecting these ideas was to prioritize opportunities that the business can develop.?

Here is a recipe you can follow to generate ideas among your teammates in 1 day.??

Step 1: Always start with a clear objective.??

That’s because ideating without a goal to target is daydreaming.?

• Who you are ideating for.?
• What you're trying to solve.??

Step 2: Group the participants.?

Balance familiarity and fresh perspective. Tip: for a larger team, consider assigning groups much earlier.?

• If you need to ideate on different categories, simultaneous ideation from each group – where each group is assigned a different category – can save time.?
• In each group, assign participants who are familiar with the current process, and participants who can contribute to a fresh perspective.

Step 3: Prepare available information and the questions.?
