How to post content on wordpress? Part 1

If you are reading this post it means you know what is wordpress or know how to use it. Today I want to explain to my readers how to post content or blog on wordpress. Wordpress i where websites are made and content can be posted. Wordpress is also easy to use like canva first you will become confused but slowly you will learn it.?

You don't have to know everything in wordpress just basic things like how to upload a blog, images, featured images, Yoast SEO, meta descriptions, etc. I am going to tell you everything I learned throughout my career. You don't need to know plugins and other functions in wordpress. In the interview, if they ask you can tell I did not create a website so I have an idea only about the Yoast seo plugin.?

Let’s start!!

First of all, when you open any wordpress website it will ask username and password. It will look like this:

After adding username and password it will open the homepage.?

In the side panel, you can see many functions like posts and pages. Here is where you have to post content. You can learn other things for yourself from YouTube courses.?

When you hover your arrow over the post function there will be some menus if posts are already created. You can also click on posts it will open the post page. It has some options like?

• All posts (if you have created any)
• Add new post
• Categories?
• Tags?

Let’s know what they mean?

• All posts - You might have already understood what this means.?
• Add new post - It is where we have to click to start a new post.
• Categories - This is where we have to create categories of posts. For example, categories can be IT blogs, digital marketing blogs, etc or it can be AI, software development, web development, etc. Some add categories and some don't.?
• Tags - They are for adding year or month etc. for eg blog for the year 2024. This is also not added by some companies?

Then there are pages. It’s the same as the post page. If you hover over it it shows all pages and add a new page.?

So now we will start with add new post we have to click or hover and click on add new post. It will open?

Pages also depend on company designs. I don't what it is called but the default add new post page is simple to understand my company had a bit different so it took some time to understand. Once you will understand what and how to do you will understand everything.?

You might have felt like why I explained all those things and didn't start with how to post content right? Sorry for that but we just don't have to add our content we have to do many other things to post content at the right place that's why I explained some things. You will understand it slowly.?

It will become so long if I start with an explanation of the blog. Sorry!! But I will explain it in another part. Till then you can try and understand some things and ask if you don't get anything. You can also tell me if I missed something or am wrong somewhere.?
