Things to do for a personal brand:
- Active presence across 3 to 5 major social media platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook which are relevant to your industry and profession.
- Synchronized brand identity on all social media platforms: Display transparency-> consistency-> consistency -> credibility.
- Use professional photos on social media platforms.
- Link your own blog/website on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook page so that others can see your article.
- Separate your personal and professional circles, i.e. images, when interacting with others on social media.
- Brand your Star Profile on LinkedIn: Brand your name, title with your personal brand positioning within 120 characters or less.
- Create a blog to share your knowledge and keep writing
- Stay involved with your own brand community or industry (intra & int).
- Be a guest speaker in various professional or social programs as often as possible.
- Try to be the brand ambassador of your organization's corporate brand.
- Express your corporate brand as much as possible on social media
- Design a unique brand voice and keep it stable.

- Being a copycat brand means being a corporate clone.
