HOW THE PAST DEFINES OUR PRESENT
We all reminisce our old school days. The good and bad times alike, from perhaps bunking a day to go watch a movie, or you and your friends getting punished for not completed your homework. We've all had our own unique experiences. Knowingly or unknowingly, it's these small actions we made and the consequences we faced that have more or less defined who we are.
But that doesn't necessarily mean that everything we've been through so far has been a good learning experience, you can learn from both good and bad events, but are they all good learnings ? Here's an example, a child takes a pencil, when asked my his parents where the pencil was, he says he took it, now if his parents were to calmly explain to him that taking what is not his is called stealing, and help him grow, he'd probably never steal again. Rather if they show rage and were to beat the kid just because he took the pencil, the kid will not have learnt that stealing is wrong, rather that next time it's better to lie, and thus starts lying to avoid the beatings. In this case, both are bad events, but the first one was a good learning, and the second one a bad one.
Now take a moment, to reflect through most of your experiences. And tell us one experience where you wish you'd gotten a better learning experience
