How to pass the APM PMQ – 12 Top Tips

The APM Project Management Qualification?is designed to provide a broad level of project management knowledge, giving existing or aspiring project management professionals all the information they need to have confidence in approaching the management of projects large or small.

The content discusses the terminology, tools and techniques and extends to provide a deeper perspective, facilitating an understanding of the reasons for their use as well as the benefits of doing so. There are various ways to study for the APM PMQ. You may attend a classroom/virtual classroom course, study for it online or go for a blended option which combines e-learning and with an exam preparation session. Either way – you will have an exam to undertake in order to gain this highly recognised qualification.

There are two examination routes for the qualification:

  • A three hour paper where candidates must answer ten from sixteen questions.
  • For current PRINCE2? Registered Practitioners a two hour paper that recognises prior learning. In this paper candidates must answer six from ten questions.

If you attend a full 20/20 virtual classroom APM PMQ course, our facilitators will fully prepare you for the exam. If you decide to study online, we recommend attending one of our specific exam preparation workshops.
