How this pandemic is going to change the "WORK CULTURE"

Pandemic (Corona, Covid -19 ) have snatched the normal way of living life desperately. Probably , now we can understand that human beings are the most dangerous species on earth who can destroy the entire mankind. Probably , the threat human brain can bring in cannot be compared to the threats coming from anything else . The deaths are slow and gradual, and we are threatened to utmost extent about the critical situation we are going through .
Where the social texture of life is under critical situation , the work scenario is suggesting new challenges . Our way of looking into various solutions to all the challenges, and hurdles we are facing at regular intervals will surely equip us with new style of working and a new level of efficiency .Let us see how , due to this pandemic we will see a change in near future .
- Working from home will become a practice
- Meetings will be replaced by emails and virtual calling
- Business Travel is going to be reduced
- Office Buildings can only be elaborated to conference halls
- Mandatory medical check up at work place
- Co-workers probably would be more missed - A very welcoming note - "For a long time, we’ve probably taken for granted the ability to see our coworkers every day and maybe didn’t realize how valuable that was,” while going through an article I came across this sentence and really felt the difference when we worked from home and we attend office.Workplace friendships could flourish among colleagues who relied on each other during the pandemic and got to know one another on a more personal note .
- More comfortable work profiles to be equipped for Women specifically those who wants to come back post to a gap
- Automation could be accelerated - challenge in the form of skill development , as many of the workforce have this habit to manage work manually and being in L&D i have seen a lot of people is highly rigid and their learning agility is equally low , so now its the right moment to enhance the knowledge and prove yourself as per the need .
Though there are challenges, loads of hurdles we need to manage and maintain . With changing time , we might land up to many such spheres which are still untouched and un experienced. We may come across many such obstacles which some way are challenges , or solutions , but the major aim should be to remain positive and maintain norms and take care of self and family.
