How palliative care and dolls helped my father reclaim his spark

An earnest endeavor to help our parents LIVE their lives & not just LEAD their lives...... Want to show the children the joy of keeping our parents happy & cheerful is NO less enjoyable than see a child grow.
My 92-year-old father with advanced Alzheimer's fell critically ill in September 2023. With palliative care and the help of realistic dolls, we nursed him back to health and brought back the spark in his eyes. Playing with dolls has helped him use both hands again, and his occasional restlessness is a blessing compared to his previous state.
I share my story to inspire and help others who care for their loved ones with Alzheimer's. Palliative care can help patients live their best lives, even with terminal illnesses.
