How to Overcome Your Fitness Breakdown

If you've been a consistent athlete for many years, you may have encountered the suspicious fitness hurdle at some point in your workout.?Reaching a fitness plateau can be frustrating, but it's common and completely normal.

The FITT Principle, Genetics plays a role in how each of us responds to exercise. You can optimize your individual potential by manipulating some training variables. The FITT principle can be applied to almost any physical condition. FITT which means frequency - intensity - time - and type. Changing any of these variables can help you climb a fitness plateau.

·????????Frequency refers to the number of days per week that you do a certain type of exercise.

·????????Intensity refers to how hard you work during a single training session.

·????????Time describes the duration of a single training session.

·????????Type refers to the type of movement you make.

For example, jogging, swimming, and cycling are activities that improve cardiorespiratory fitness. While bodyweight exercises and strength training are types of activities that improve muscle fitness.

Of these four components, the intensity has the greatest impact on fitness results. Adding higher intensity intervals to your cardio sessions is an effective way to challenge and improve your cardiorespiratory fitness.

To increase intensity during resistance training, consider reducing the amount of rest between sets or doing supersets. With a superset, opposing muscle groups are trained back to back without taking breaks between exercises. You can do a series of push-ups followed by a series of curved rows.

Recovery training is only part of the equation to achieving your fitness goals. What you do between workouts is just as important. If you want to make significant gains, it is important to consciously recover between workouts. Your risk of injury from exercise and gives your body the opportunity to recover after strenuous exercise. Good sleep hygiene, post-workout fluid replacement, and proper sports nutrition are all required for proper recovery between workouts.

Exercising can also help improve recovery. These activities can be incorporated into your exercise regimen for a few days a week or for a few minutes after an intense workout to relieve pain, improve blood circulation, and improve mobility. While most people don't get enough physical activity to improve their health, some people can train to the point of overtraining. To improve fitness and performance, you need to exercise enough to challenge the system or muscle groups that you are becoming. However, intense, high-volume training for weeks or months can sometimes lead to overtraining syndrome.

While it can be difficult to spot and diagnose, the overtraining syndrome is characterized by a decrease in performance despite constant exercise training. Overtraining includes unwanted weight loss, changes in appetite, sleep disorder, irritability, and a lack of appreciation for activities that are normally enjoyable Depression, and Excessive fatigue during exercise. Competitive endurance athletes are at the highest risk of overtraining syndrome, but recreational athletes can also be affected. Overtraining syndrome needs to be treated with a reduction in exercise and, in some cases, a complete break for weeks or months.

Exercising regularly throughout your life will have positive effects on your health in many ways. Don't be discouraged if you find yourself stalemated in fitness.
