How to overcome the Creator's block

Creator’s block is a real struggle. In order to overcome it, you need to take some steps in advance.

Being organized is the best assistance you can have as a creator. It's like a computer backup; you never know why you need it until your PC crushes. It all then makes sense.

The same applies here. Content Creators need their personal assistant to help them move when they feel stuck. Because, as I always say, creating Content is not a matter of inspiration, but rather a matter of being well-organized.

Here are a few things I do that always help me - feel free to copy them!:

1.Content Hub:

Every time I see something valuable, I save it. This allows me to have great idea lists I can use anytime I need them.

I have online places for every idea:

  • A folder in my inbox for the ideas I receive through newsletters
  • A folder in my browser's bookmarks for articles that teach me something
  • The screenshot folder on my mobile - I screenshot anything interesting
  • The Saved posts on every platform

When I need help, I browse these places and everything works. But it doesn't stop there. I also do the same with content from experts.

On LinkedIn, I created a bookmarked Page dedicated to Content from people I admire. I visit it when I need it most and take the inspiration needed.

How did I do it? Check this post here:

You are welcome ??

2.Content Calendar:

This helps me with the types of content I create. I know in advance when I am sharing:

  • Educational content?
  • Polls
  • Questions
  • My opinion
  • Quotes or text in templates

When I follow a plan, I don’t get lost. Using a calendar is a structured way to create content, thus showing you a path you can follow.

3.I check my previous posts

This helps me create threads that boost visibility. When I look at previous posts I can think of new things I can create content, that is relevant - but not the same as the previous posts.

After I publish them, I connect them to the previous posts to create a small thread. You may check this post to see in-depth how I do it:

4.Always have some spare posts

This could be anything from full educational posts to simple questions to address your community. I don’t rely on them. I simply want to have them just in case I won’t be able to put in the time needed to create something.?

In my Shop, there are ready-made posts created by me that you can use. It's one of the most-requested products I have - check the listing here.

?

5.Relying on Momentum

I try to create content daily. Even something small, that I won't publish it. Why?

Because it helps me have flow. And when there is flow, new ideas pop like crazy. Momentum is very important in anything you try ??

This is the main reason I don't bulk-create content for a month. I prefer daily creation to keep this flow. If I had a week or a month break, I would struggle more. Of course, this is me! But I noticed the pattern, this is why I mention it.

Try to build the habit of creating and you will see it becomes easier.

6.I use tools for Content Creation

There are just so many tools you could try to make things easy. While A.I. becomes mainstream, the excuses for no inspiration will be eliminated.

Yet, I prefer using Easy Content Creator. With the click of a button, I get ready prompts and questions I copy-paste to my accounts. They can be applied to any niche and they are tested to provoke engagement. Sweet!

Up to you

These are examples of what I do when I need to create something but I am not sure about the idea. With some help, you can keep going without the struggle. But I have to ask: what do you do when you hit Creator's Block? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for making me feel helpful ??
