EXPERT SOURCING: HOW TO OUTSOURCE TO EXPERTS
There are major setbacks with traditional outsourcing.
Here's how to avoid getting it all wrong:
Time tipping through anti-time management.
Ever hire someone to do a job but they didn't do it well so instead of having the job done you just gave yourself a bunch of more jobs?!?
The job of hiring someone.
The job of having to train them.
The job of doing it over when it wasn't done right.
Etc. Etc. Etc.!
Why, why, why?
AND YOU DID THIS INTENTIONALLY?!
DON'T LIE TO YOURSELF ABOUT OUTSOURCING
Look...there is for sure a time and place for hiring and training.
Just don't lie to yourself that outsourcing to someone that doesn't know what they are doing is going to help you free up your time.
Got it??
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO INSTEAD?
Delegate results, not means!
Here’s the setback with traditional outsourcing:?
This training-required outsourcing process frustrates the one hiring and the one being hired. There is a time and place for training.
THIS IS THE WAY
Expert sourcing:
In Expert Sourcing, you want to work with people who could train you.?
Hiring someone who already spent years and tons of money learning how to do the task and knows how to do it better than you will help you immediately and save you time without expensive training.
What better way to honor someone's craft, their art, their skillset and their drive as an entrepreneur than to work with them?!?
Plus, it's actually not more expensive in many cases.
Sometimes it will be, for sure, but you can set the budget and any expert who wants to do the job can negotiate with you for a fair price.
This is called...wait for it...the Internet.
The gig economy, project work, freelancer-awesomeness.
The place where people own their own job and want and like to work with you...they even offer their service...ONLINE! :-)
Welcome to the 21st Century.

Isn't it time we wake up to the fact that we don't need to work like it's still the late 1900s?
OUTSOURCE TO EXPERTS—EXPERT SOURCING
Ask yourself this one question when you think about what to expert source:
What am I trading my time for??
Don't give up half your life by giving your time to things you don't need to do.
Expert Sourcing helps you get it all done—even if you “don’t have time” and “don’t know how,” leaving you with no excuse.
Expert Sourcing is as much a matter of how you think as it is the result of thinking.
Let go of your ego. Work with experts.
They will bless your life in ways that will free up your bandwidth and time and get better results than you would on your own...and will likely be less "expensive" overall.
There is nothing more satisfying (or infuriating) if you are DIY than to outsource to an expert and have them do it for less than you would have on your own. Hahaha! It's actually a little infuriating (ego!) and amazing (joy!) at the same time. Hahahah! Those who know...know.?
Realize that one project can turn to ten (if you want) in the same time or less with Expert Sources.?
?
The general issues that come along with traditional outsourcing disappear when you leverage Expert Sourcing because there really isn't much for you to do.
It's handled. Because they are, in fact, experts.?
Full calendar. Empty life.
?LEADERSHIP IS AN EMPTY CALENDAR!
After you read this article, if you're doing it all by yourself it's either because you want to or because you're unwilling to learn.
Expert sourcing is a learnable skill.
It's not a lesson learned until it's a behavior changed.
You rock,
Richie
P.S. It's funny because at my company PROUDUCT we laugh sometimes that we are "better than free" because our service generally gets people custom physical products and end-to-end supply chain solutions for FAR less than they could on their own because of our expertise.
You see, relationships and knowing the best questions to ask to get the best rates and quality is an expert skill by industry that doesn't accompany the average DIYer (despite their best intentions).
You don't have to Expert Source everything.
Do the stuff you want and then eliminate, delegate and outsource the rest (EDO).
Your job as an entrepreneur or executive or project creator is to set things in motion, not do it all yourself!
