How to outshine your competitors and stand out online.

Standing out online can be a challenge with so much going on. If you're wondering why you aren't getting noticed think about this:

When was the last time you engaged with someone who commented on your post.

When someone connects with you do you thank them for connecting?

When was the last time you just did a zoom to have a virual cup or tea or chat? No other motive.

When was the last time you spoke about someone else in a post?

When was the last time you did a video and posted it on LinkedIn? Vertical video is really popular now and is getting great traction.

When was the last time you added value by teaching us something we didn't know yesterday?

When you share your knowledge and help others word will spread. People talk. People are always watching. The more you add value and show your expertise the more people will know what you're about and recommend you to others.

When was the last time you did a LinkedIn poll? Here's one I did yesterday

LinkedIn poll

If people are searching for experts in a particular topic, they will choose the person who has a professional headshot and professional looking bio and always look at their past few posts and featured section before they reach out. (I know I do).

Follow the steps above and watch your LinkedIn engagement grow. If you want help with any of this email me [email protected] or fill in this form to see are you ready to shine online!

Happy New year! Let's do this!

Love this Sam, Such a good reminder that it’s the little things, like sharing something helpful, that really make the difference. The bit about vertical video is interesting, Ill give it a go this year. Thanks for these tips.
