How Environment Driving Our Eating Behavior

The standard prescription for weight loss is “Eat Less, Move More.” It sounds perfectly reasonable. But why doesn’t it work? Perhaps people wanting to lose weight are not following this advice. The mind is willing, but the flesh is weak.



Now you say, self-discipline and dedication needed to lose weight. Now the question is, who kills your self-discipline and dedication?



If someone land you in Amazon Rainforest and you are hungry how you decide what plant is safe to eat or not?

?


May be you find one fruit plant what you known from childhood, but still the question is, is it same plant or just look like, how you decide?

?


when you are hungry and you don’t have food to eat and zomato not deliver at your current address what do you eat?

?


Before you choose any food, you think is it safe or not, I should eat or not?

?


Now I give you a situation, just half Km distance from you is village.

?


Now tell me what you do?



You think to visit those village and ask does is safe to eat or ask for food in exchange with money which they don't value.

?


Now you reach to village and ask for food, they serve you, now you get surprise, the food they serve you are not aware of, you ask what it is( in English/Hindi language which they don’t understand) they tell you what it is ( in language you don’t understand) now you get aware of new kind of food and you eat.

?


But you forget to ask one big question, how much is it safe to eat?

?


You think Ooh, it doesn’t matter they are eating their whole life.

?


Yes they are, but they are die very soon because of the food they eat or they get sick often because of the food they eat in regular basis but they find the treatment for those illness….. but…..they don’t know the food they eat are the root cause of those illness and not you are aware of those illness.

?


So because the food is testy you decide to introduce these food in city where you live and earn money, that is good idea.

?


So you open a café, start marketing so people know about your new innovation, create different marketing tactic to attract customer. Now people come to your café, they taste, they like and start coming again and again.

?


Now people start getting sick and nobody aware of, doctor find new type of illness - they now manufacturing drug for these illness and the drug make lots of money by selling. People unaware of this and?because people don’t die from this problem pharmaceutical think to make money by manipulate data and not telling people the exact cause.

?


And the café you open hit big success, you start selling franchising and the food you introduce spread around country, more and more people get sick and Pharmaceutical make more and more money and economy also grow with that.

?


The same happening around us in reality. Do you know How and When you get known about Pizza, Pasta, Maggi? Who tell you to eat Pizza, Pasta? Do you have ask question, does it safe or not before you eat?

?


You all know this type of food make you sick anytime but still you eat, do you know why?

?


Because it make you sick anytime but not often, it make you only sick not kill you and you get recover that is why you don’t care about sickness. Sometime sickness get severe like T2D,PCOD, NAFLD but again it not kill you, you live rest of your life on medication and because it doesn’t kill you, Big Body doesn’t give importance to share in public about root cause.

?


And drug company make huge profit, Government party get fund from it so Government also do not give importance on this topic. And people also not aware of what going on, public often get misguided by Big Body not sharing full evidence.

?


Yes Horlicks is healthy, all the food that make you sick but not often and not kill you but prone your body to live like zombie is healthy food.

?


For example….

?


Horlicks made up Malt, Wheat Flour, Milk and Sugar is healthier than the isolated form of milk and wheat.

?


Ensure manufactured by Abbott Laboratories made up of Sugar Powder, Cheap Protein and Fat like Maltodextrin, Sugar, Canola oil, Corn , Soy etc.(you can find on Wikipedia) make your bone strong, is better than drinking milk.

?


Eating Butter give plaque in your arteries but the Biscuit made with butter does not plaque you arteries.

?


Fat make you Fat because it have 2 time higher calories than carbohydrate but eating carbs twice time high than fat (which make equal calories to fat) doesn’t make you Fat. And other much more junk advice…..

?


Yes, the Environment you live is responsible for your Obesity because it control your behavior what you eat, when you eat. Do you know How?

Our environment made up of TV, Social media, Religion, Family rule non-veg or not, Party, College Function, Working Culture, Friend Gathering, Family Gathering, Festival, and also Climate and Pollution.

Environment of one person’s is different from another person’s because of Religion, Festival and living in different City, Working Culture etc.

?


If someone’s environment made up of watching Hotstar, Disney +, Netflix, Friend treat, is more likely to make you obese than who’s environment is made up of Family gathering, festival, Reading and working.

?


You are only responsible for your environment, the way you build your environment drive your behavior and your behavior you do on regular basis become habit, which give you result good or bad, happy or sad.

Television and Social Media ADS

?Do you know how you get known to eat pizza, chips, pasts….is by unwanted Ads you see, all your around.

How you enjoy your cricket match? What chips you eat on Friend gathering, is it coca - cola treat or Sprite? When you eat popcorn, in theater or at Home Movie Show?



How you get known to enjoy this way?

Is by ADS.

?


Media putting their junk in your brain so you buy their junk, showing you when you buy their product by Ads. The Ads not only promoting there product they actually promoting behavior.

How to enjoy Friend Gathering, by there product called Coca - cola, Chips, Pizza etc.

?


So most of your behavior is control by other, what action you take in different situation, is control by others and you think it’s your decision but it’s not yours - some one tell you how to behave and you even don’t know.

?


The content you consume effect your thought, based on consume data you make decision, based on decision you take action and your action give result, be good or bad, happy or sad.

?


Between the content you consume and the decision you make is gap where you filter information does it good or bad, right or wrong. You find evidence what make your decision 100% evidence based what you do is right. And if you don’t know how to filter information than definitely the decision you make is not yours. And the end result you get is Obesity and Obesity related issue.

Festival and Religion

?

You all know 80% food you eat on Festival is junk, full of Sugar and Carcinogenic Oil. I don’t write too much on Religion it become controversial, all I want to say is, the way we enjoy own festival today is not the same as our ancestor enjoy.

Metaverse (Virtual World)

?

We all are very well aware of Digital exposure and how it affect our behavior, make us fully sedentary, like zombie who’s goal is just stick to pleasure of Fictional World and nothing, where we always feel hungry by watching others and new way of enjoyment.

?


I don’t know how Metaverse affect our behavior and how our future will be and how we react on food.

?

?

Your health is in your hand and no one going to help you, it is up to you how smart you are - means if you ask the question how to treat obesity they give you advice how you treat but don’t tell you how to prevent and what the root cause is.

?


If you ask how I loss weight permanently they give you advice gastric bypass surgery but doesn’t tell you about food and root cause.

?


If you ask for how you lower your Cholesterol they prescribe you Statin Drug but they don’t tell you that Cholesterol doesn’t cause Heart Disease and Statin is not solution…….

?


It’s all up to you, your question decide what type of answer you get, if you unaware of right information they keep you unaware..

?

Now you very well know who control your behavior and also you know how you control your behavior. Your Input decide your quality of thought, how you think decide you decision, based on decision you take action, your action reflect result and result make you happy or sad.

?


At the end, all I want to say is, control the Information you consume. All information are not for human improvement, Most of make you Sedentary and control your behavior.
