Today is an exciting day! We are officially launching the PatientSource Clinical Leadership Panel, which brings together talented leaders with extensive clinical experience to support our clients in their digital transformations.
Our Clinical Leadership Panel has been carefully selected for their expertise in areas including Community Care, Secondary Care, Mental Health and the private sector.
We launched the Clinical Leadership Panel as we wanted to ensure that PatientSource has unrivalled knowledge and experience available to provide our clients with the best system they could ask for. With the Clinical Leadership Panel, we have experts with the unique experience to guide very specific implementations. We have found leaders that understand the needs of frontline staff and those at board level. In other words, leaders with the broadness of experience to intimately understand what makes the healthcare industry ‘tick’.
I firmly believe that the Clinical Leadership Panel will make PatientSource an even more attractive system for future clients. For they will get to enjoy the benefits of working with an SME that truly cares, while also having access to some of the most experienced and knowledgeable leaders in the industry to guide their adoption of the PatientSource system. Now that’s an attractive offer, even if I do say so myself!
At PatientSource, we don’t believe in standing still. We want to continue our agile expansion into new markets, such as mental health and sexual health services. The Clinical Leadership Panel will supplement our in-house experts to facilitate this. And this is something that each member of the panel is happy to do, because they each hold their own frustrations with the current landscape and want to help PatientSource make a difference.
One member of the panel is Chris Kennedy, a highly experienced Associate Director in the NHS with experience in community care, secondary care and the private health sector. He is skilled in influencing and leading diverse teams of professionals and non-clinical staff to achieve high levels of success. He has successfully led service tenders, as well as the development and implementation of clinical strategy across a range of professions and services including community hospitals and community services. Kennedy will be an invaluable member of the panel, helping PatientSource to integrate overlooked, peripheral services using open API.
Also joining the panel is Dr Tim Ojo, a consultant with a clinical background in psychiatry. He has board level medical management experience as medical director and director of quality. He is committed to innovative delivery of high-quality healthcare and is interested in how appropriately harnessed technology can transform patient care - a sentiment echoed by PatientSource’s vision and values. He has been a member of senior level medical advisory groups in the last 5 years, experience which will yield vital insights for PatientSource.
At PatientSource, we believe that technology has the power to greatly enhance clinical practice, but only when that technology is designed by those who understand how the technology will be implemented and used.
The launch of the Clinical Leadership Panel will help PatientSource to continue living and breathing that philosophy.
We are certainly enjoying and learning So much in partnering with PatientSource. So looking forward to having our new system in place!
