Discovering Ken Honda 's book "Happy Money " was a turning point in my journey to conquer financial stress. I was raised in poverty in the Dominican Republic ????, and my family's move to the US promised a better life. However, my relentless pursuit of financial stability only deepened my money woes. It was a sobering realization that true happiness remained just my of reach despite our efforts.
"Happy Money" reshaped my entire perspective on wealth. No longer was it solely about the digits in my bank account; it was about the richness of relationships and the joy found in life's simplest pleasures. This book became my guide, leading me to redefine my relationship with money and paving the way for a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Ken Honda's insights challenged me to reconsider the very essence of wealth. It wasn't about hoarding riches but rather about cultivating a mindset of abundance and gratitude. As I delved into the pages of "Happy Money," I found myself nodding along with each revelation, recognizing the profound impact it could have on my life.
One of the most enlightening aspects of "Happy Money" was its emphasis on the connection between money and happiness. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the amount of money we possess that determines our happiness but rather how we choose to use it. By investing in experiences, nurturing meaningful relationships, and giving back to others, we unlock the true power of money to bring joy into our lives.
Implementing the principles outlined in "Happy Money" wasn't always easy. It required a shift in mindset and a willingness to let go of old habits. Yet, with each small step towards financial enlightenment, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I began to see opportunities where I once saw obstacles, and my outlook on life became infused with newfound optimism.

9 个月It is a great book! Ken Honda is a powerful teacher, I followed the course on Mindvalley and really enjoyed it as well. If you need to look at healing negative patterns, read this book as a routine added to many others as well. Make money a friend, a tool and not the source. Thank you for the read ??

9 个月Love this. The inner calmness, peace, focus on how we feel about ourselves, and an ability to see what we do have rather than what we don't have - that's the key to everything. I've been lucky to have had books recommended to me over the years which focus on such as well. I love how they taught me grounding and focusing on looking inside myself before blaming the world for what might not be going right for me. I will keep this recommendation for others who might need it. Thank you and have a great weekend.

9 个月Oh, I absolutely love it Barney! I'm going to buy it right now! I think we all have some issues regarding money. It's a cultural fact; we've been taught to see money as something dirty and mean. It's a social and cultural attitude. Some more than others! Thank you so much for sharing!
