How to Obtain a High Marketing ROI with Attorney Adam Rossen
Adam Rossen has built a law firm not often encountered – a rapidly-growing 20-person criminal law firm.??
One technique in particular has lifted the return on his marketing, and he explains that approach in detail in this informative and inspirational session.

1. Growth needs to be intelligently and actively pursued.?
Adam has created a mission, values, and a business plan for his firm.? His marketing spend is a percentage of his projected next year’s revenue.? Adam is heavily involved in overseeing that marketing and no longer practices law.? Each of those management elements contributes to his firm’s growth.
2. Somebody at the top needs to be responsible for marketing and intake.?
I can only think of one instance in over 75 interviews where that person was not the founder of the firm [Kara: John Gomez].? Pulling back from practicing law, at least partially, is necessary to free up time to focus on marketing.
3. Marketing agencies require oversight...
And that includes top-drawer outfits like Seth Price’s Blue Shark Digital.? You won’t get the most out of your agency if you are not communicating regularly, requiring reports containing the proper metrics, and sharing detailed results with your agency like who is actually signing up and which signers are quality clients.?

4. The most effective way to manage intake is to review calls.?
Yes, listening to intake calls is tedious and repetitive work, but there is no more effective and affordable way to lift revenue than lifting your signing rate.? And that result is typically only achieved with the regular monitoring, training, and motivating that comes from paying personal attention to intake like Adam does.
5. Reviews need to be pursued.?
To remain competitive with firms which have an active review solicitation effort, you need to devote effort to building up your review collection.? Seeking them needs to be part of your firm’s culture.? Obtaining good ones should be celebrated.? And those who obtain the most or the best reviews should be rewarded.??
6. Select two marketing channels and really work them before adding more.?
Adam dug deeply into digital marketing and organic social, which are the right places for a criminal firm to begin.? He has also paid close attention to client referrals.? Those three, plus professional referrals, should be the initial channels for most firms.
