How to notify recruiters you are open to new positions...without alerting your current employer.

You’re on the hunt for a new position, but you don’t want your current employer to know. Here’s how to notify recruiters, in secret, and get them to do all the heavy lifting for you while you go about your business. 

Turn on 'Open To New Opportunities' in secret.

This section can be found on the “Jobs” tab and is not visible to your LinkedIn profile, or network. Only those with LinkedIn Recruiter (a very expensive, paid service) who don’t work for your current employer can see this information.
