On July 1, 2024, Google will have fully transitioned all sites from its old analytics tool (Universal Analytics) to GA4, its new analytics tool.??
Starting in July of this year, Google will be turning off all Universal Analytics services.? To maintain access to your old data, you should download or export your data now. If this isn’t done through one of the methods provided in the Google Analytics Help Center, your data will be permanently deleted by Google and won’t be recoverable.?
Historical data is important for understanding how people have discovered your nonprofit, how engaged they are on your site, what content they read, and what content is not getting seen. All of this information is in your historical analytics data.
