How NocodeBuddies help businesses transform faster by using no-code tools like Triggre

Hi Bouwe, thank you for joining us today. Could you start off by telling us a bit more about yourself and your professional background?

Thanks for having me! I am Bouwe Koopal, 62 years old and developing software from the age of 14 on. I started with coding but fell in love with the no-code world a few years ago.

I wrote a book on the cloud world and citizen development, “The World of UDI”, and 1,5 years ago I set up NocodeBuddies — a software agency specialized in no-code solutions.?

That's amazing! Could you tell us more about your book and the vision behind NocodeBuddies?

Our mission is to implement digital transformation stress-free with our Buddy approach and no-code tools like Triggre.

In 2019, ‘The World of UDI' appeared on the market. In this atlas, together with Bert Annink I describe the cloud world in a very accessible way. The atlas describes the Citizen Wave as one of the most important developments.

The core of the Citizen Wave is that professionals themselves select and implement their applications on Trendy Boulevard. If no suitable applications are available, they make them themselves (as Citizen Developers on Citizen Beach) with no-code tools. Finally, professionals can connect existing and self-made applications in Robotic Seaport.

As a follow-up to this atlas, my dream was to set up an organization that would help SMEs with the idea of the Citizen Wave and guide them in the world of UDI, using no-code tools only.

In a teacher-apprentice format, we aim to help young people enter the labour market faster and better-equipped. The junior “Buddies” are supervised by senior specialists (teachers) who have a lot of experience, are retired or have reached the last phase of their career. This prevents loss of essential knowledge and helps young people benefit from this knowledge more quickly.

Your "tool of choice" is Triggre. How long have you been using Triggre, and how did you discover it??

I have been using Triggre for at least 5 years now, and I discovered it while I was continuously scanning the market for no-code solutions.

Are there any cases you're especially proud of?

We have built a complete workflow management system for an industrial client to support their core processes. To be precise, it is a Compliance Risk Information System that allows customers to manage risk and controls of their organization. It's a knowledge-intensive solution for a very complex business function, and 100% no-code.

What was the main challenge you faced with this case and how did you solve it??

There was a strong demand for a flexible solution with a complex product configurator and adaptable workflow support system with manual and automatic tasks. We built it using the standard no-code platform Triggre, simply by defining a perfect and flexible data model.

What was the impact on the client's business after implementing the solution?

An improved support of order management and fulfilment in a way that the company was more scalable and could increase order volumes without growing their staff.
