We are a week into December and you might be busy in your business hoping to hit it out of the park by Christmas... and you are not alone. Many businesses are hoping to get back some revenue they missed during this "unprecedented year" and we want to show you some easy ways to get folks talking about YOU.
So what some are ways that you can be successful at this prime time when wallets are open and Santa is spending?
1. Reach out to past clients.
The warmest audience you'll ever have is the ones who have already bought from you. Now is the time to gather those email addresses and reach back out to those past leads. They already know your name and with everything that is going on in the world- odds are, they could have forgotten?about your?offerings but a quick email to their inbox?can put you and your business front of mind again and get those folks back into your working funnel.
Now, should your emails say, "Buy my stuff"? Probably not, but use that creative marketing and get a catchy subject?line to pique their interest and a strong call to action within your email to get those sales.
2. Give an incentive
Give your customers incentives to buy from you! It doesn't always have to be touted as a "discount" but you can create offerings that get people buying. The department stores are in full swing with their BOGOs and half offs so what can you rework in your product line that can get folks to gettin'. If you sell products, this is a great time to let your customers explore your other offerings by throwing in something they might not have tried yet!
3. Create videos
Want to beat those pesky algorithms? Right now is the heyday for video content so get started on creating your next video. You can do "sneak peeks" or "coming soon" to create buzz around your next release or just go Live and chit-chat about what is coming into your shop just in time for the holidays. Videos that have a call to action like, "Top 3 Stocking Stuffers You Need This Christmas" are great for keeping viewership and directing potential customers to the next steps (hint: one of those three things has to be one of your products).
4. Jump headfirst into local community groups
Your neighbors can be your best customers, but how can you reach them? The answer- community groups. If there is anything that saw a surge this last year was community groups on social platforms. It is a socially distant way to keep tabs on the local happenings while also finding helpful information all in one. Join your local community groups and look out for sales post days and take some action by posting your holiday offerings. But remember, use call to actions and clear photos and videos to grab the attention of folks scrolling in their news feeds!
5. Invest in your referral sources
There is no better excuse to get in front of your referral sources one more time than with a card letting them know just how much they mean to you. You'll find that taking the time to acknowledge them and the work they have done to grow your business will help keep you top of mind all December long.
What are some ways you are building the buzz for your December and quarter 4 sales goals?
