How was my journey through EDP Open Innovation.

Today ended the EDP Open Innovation Program of 2018 and I want to take the opportunity to share a little about what this experience was like for me.

I had the pleasure of going to Lisbon to participate in this program together with Lucas Straub and together we represented GoEPIK. Our first challenge as part of the development team was to get out of the comfort zone and deal with business challenges and figure out how to solve them. It had been a lot of knowledge in these two weeks thanks to Gon?alo Negr?o Serra and Patrícia Almeida and the entire team of Beta-i. You together with EDP have an incredible innovate environment, I had never seen this before. A company of this size, able to receive startups from various countries and everyone at ease to show what they have done and how they can help in challenges of all aspects.

I wanted to thank you so much for getting Tim Kock's presence. Within this ecosystem of startups and new disruptive technologies, it is wonderful to see someone being brutally honest about all aspects of the environment and showing how transparency changes the whole relationship between startups and large companies.

I could not get any part of this whole program out. Every activity, every person they could bring to talk to us. Everything added value to me individually as well as to my work within GoEPIK.

We are very proud to have participated with the other 9 startups. All of them with incredible solutions, solving challenges in several areas motivated us even more to evolve.

The only way to reciprocate all the knowledge they gave us is to channel all this in order to improve what GoEPIK is creating and delivering as a solution and to continue with the work.

As we made clear throughout the whole program, this was the beginning of a relationship and I'm sure we will go a long way together.
