How Much Will You Need To Save For Retirement?
Loren W. Olson, ChFC Planning Advisor
President Retirement Resources Inc. and Registered Investment Advisor
At Retirement Resources we write extensive retirement plans that include a current balance sheet, current and projected cash flow statements, projected balance sheet, tax projections, and much more. However, this requires the client to do their homework and bring in all necessary data including tax returns, income/expenses, mortgages, investments and savings account statements, wills, trusts, etc. We call this the “serious version” for clients that are seriously considering retirement.
Fortunately, we do have an abbreviated version for those that would like to get an approximate idea how much to save in order to retire at a chosen age. This is a great tool for some of the younger folks that just need to start saving, which by the way, the sooner you start the less you have to save.
The other nice thing about this tool is you can do it yourself in just a matter of minutes on my web site at no charge. Just go here and have fun playing with the numbers.
For all of you “seriously considering retirement folks” I urge you to come in and get acquainted. Financial and retirement planning is a very serious and personal matter. It is important for the client and advisor to have a mutual level of trust and chemistry. Our initial consultations are designed to establish that trust and chemistry then decide the next step, if any, from there.
I have written an article called “How To Choose A Financial Advisor." This will be a useful tool for those looking for financial and investment help. Just click here for your copy and I wish you the best.
