Earlier this summer, I was talking to a client about his marketing efforts versus results. The conversation quickly became about how much marketing he actually needs to do. I finally said to him, “You know, you might not need to do any marketing.”
Here’s how to figure out how much marketing is right for your business.

2 年This is really helpful! Something I've realized, too, is that I have to make sure to include calls to action with the outreach I do. I spent a lot of time hoping I could just show up places and that people will want to work with me. It happens sometimes, but I know there has to be a balance between that more relational process and actually making offers to people.

2 年This process sounds familiar . . . ! But I like how you've put it into the context of marketing. I've pared back what I do marketing wise, precisely because I knew some of the things I used to do weren't working (ahem, Facebook). I'm always feeling like I'm not doing enough and I think you've just given me permission to be ok with that as long as I'm meeting my goals. Thanks!
