Buyer's Market? Seller's Market? Is it anybody's market?
It can be confusing when you listen to the national media. So what's the truth?
Every market is different.
By "every market," I mean each individual city is different. For small towns, your parish (county) is different. Then, inside of your area, it can get even more detailed. We look at how commercial properties are doing and residential.
Then, it gets personal. How does Your property look on the market right now?
If you have a 4 bedroom 1 bath home and the market is full of places with 2 bathrooms, you might have a harder time this month. But next month, if those 2 bathroom properties are under contract, your house immediately gains a competitive edge, especially if there are few other 4 bedroom places available.
That's how I strategize for my sellers. I won't sugarcoat the situation because I want you to trust in the process and most importantly trust me, to keep you informed.
You should never base your decision to buy or sell on what the national market is doing. Sure you should have a Realtor that understands the national trends, but the actual decision to buy or sell
... is personal.
With a realtor who understands the information below, you can rest assured you're getting the right price for your property.

Every property is different. It's important to know how YOUR property looks in the market. National market trends can never tell you that.
