Marcus, How Will AI and ChatGPT affect They Ask You Answer?
?That’s the question I have kept getting these past two weeks.
?So let’s attempt to address it (knowing I’ll have much more to say on the matter moving forward…)
?The thing that makes They Ask You Answer so powerful is two-fold:
?1.??An obsession with questions, worries, fears, concerns, etc. of our potential customers/buyers.
2.??The willingness to actually ADDRESS those questions, worries, fears, concerns, etc.
?So what’s AI’s role in this?
?Yes, it will help identify these subjects/questions for businesses very, very well.
?It will also quickly produce content that does a relatively solid job answering these questions.
?But it CAN’T convince a CEO to be honest, transparent, and open about these fundamental needs buyers have.
?It CAN'T convince an organization to discuss cost and price even though the answer is “it depends.”
?It CAN'T convince someone to openly address the competition and how companies, products, or services honestly compare against each other.
But that’s not it.

?AI also can’t take the real stories of your customers, prospects, etc.—and then tell those stories within your content.
?In other words, is not (yet) a personal non-fiction storytelling tool. (It can't read your mind and know what's in there.)
?That’s all up to you and your team.
?This is also why we all need to get much better with the art of storytelling as that’s what, in many ways, will separate AI content from Human content in the years ahead.
?Ideally, though, you should be seeing AI as a tremendous assistant to your TAYA and content marketing efforts.
?It will give you the ability to gather facts, and then turn them into an article (or even video) dramatically quicker.
?If used properly, it will improve your copywriting skills, your production capacity, your research capacity, and so much more.
?But the key, again, is that it must be used properly-- which takes time, effort, and much learning.
?So am I excited about AI and TAYA?
?You better believe it.
?Because once again, those that embrace transparency, great teaching, and honesty in business (and marketing) will thrive...just faster than they did before.
?And those that don’t will be left behind.

1 年Definitely feel there is a bright future for AI products, however ChatGPT in particular gives me cause for concern in one unique respect. This is a technology that needs to be tempered with some measure of responsibility. Those words “technology” and “responsibility” are seldom used in tandem. There are equal measures of potential for both good and evil with this sort of technology.

1 年I am loving the ChatGPT technology. It’s not replacing anything anytime soon, not until at least GPT-4 is released. But it does has its uses and can assist and make aspects of marketing more efficient. Especially if you have the knowledge of how to train your AI.

1 年Marcus Sheridan It's important to keep the Gartner Hype cycle in mind when reviewing the use of any new technology. That's kept me semi-sane during this current spike of inflation expectation.
