Mindfulness is not a new concept. It has been mentioned in a lot of religions and scriptures already. Mindfulness means to live in the present moment, with full attention. As we learnt, we can’t multitask very well, if we are lost in the thoughts of the past or future, we won’t be able to perform well in the very present moment and lose the opportunity to live it.
Rishabh Pant is an example here, where he mentioned that he just focused on every ball rather than ruminating about the past or the future.

Not being mindful of the present, we make decisions which are not the best, we have impaired judgements and impaired productivity in total.
We can use mindfulness to overcome the thoughts and emotions of automacity.
