Are you feeling void after 8 hours in the office? Do you think you are very busy but learned a few? Are you trying to plan more but finish less? Are you dealing with more and more interruptions? If this sounds familiar, you may benefit by implementing the following tactics.
1. Delegate.
Don’t take all responsibilities and try to focus on your core business only. Teach somebody else to do the time-consuming and repetitive tasks for you.
2. Control limits.
Set priorities and control your daily working schedule. You can’t work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm along the way at high-efficiency. Don’t give yourself too much pressure by promising too much to others.
3. Nothing is perfect.
Accept imperfect, cares about the whole process, not only the results.
4. Reduce interruptions.
Check and reply to emails in a fixed time, keep the phone far from your sight, disconnect your WIFI when doing critical tasks.
5. List out priorities.
Know the priorities and know the secondary tasks. Do the difficult tasks when you clear-headed, finish the easy job when you feeling ineffective.
6. Daily summary
Writing a daily summary before left office, check what you’ve got and what you haven’t done. Analyze the reason and improve the situation on your next day.
We all have 24 hours a day, by using the time efficiently and effectively, we can benefit the most from our time management.
