How to maximise engagement and footfall on a 6m x 3m stand

The Problem

LRQA had commissioned an exhibition designer of international repute to create a stand for their most prestigious exhibition of the year.

With a new brand, a new software solution and a big budget they wanted to ‘push the boat out’ with a strong message to their market.

Initial designs were uninspiring, so much so that LRQA turned to Reynolds who had recently rebranded all their UK offices, and who showed a real understanding of the new brand look and feel.

Time was of the essence, not only did they need Reynolds to deliver a great design, they needed it done quickly.

The Solution

Understanding the usage of the stand and working out the flow, footfall and physical requirements is how we always start a stand design.

For this stand we incorporated secure storage, reception, demo bar, video and lounge seating.

Next we separated the large amount of copy into individual sections and replaced some copy with illustrations to make the messages easier to understand and navigate.

Utilising the new brand colour accents, we designed a space that reflected the new brand together with LED backlighting to add impact.

Our View?

The brief and timescale was very clear, we had a short timescale to turn this around. What stood in our favour was we had already demonstrated we understood the new brand.?

Asha was great to deal with, very clear and direct, we moved at a fast pace from layout to concepts to design to print.?

The new LRQA brand colours are designed for digital and not analogue print. To get the colours to appear as vibrant as they would on screen meant testing the latest print techniques and materials to find a solution.?

LED technology gave us the premium result that we and the client were looking for.?

Our Clients View?

Commissioning an experienced and reputable stand designer did not give us the results we were hoping for.?

Needing to act quickly, we turned to Reynolds as they had demonstrated an understanding of our new brand really well with the rebranding of our UK offices.?

Through their clear understanding of space, function and creativity Reynolds proved that they knew exactly how to utilize our clean, exciting and dynamic new look.?

We were delighted with the results, the exhibition in Spain was a great success and the stand did everything we asked of it. Our senior leadership team?were proud to be there!?
