How to mass withdraw pending connection invites

As part of Linkedin's ongoing plan to reduce the amount of spam on the platform, some of you may have recently noticed that they have removed the ability to mass remove pending connection invitations.

The removal of pending connections is an important step in ensuring you stay out of Linkedin jail (requiring an email address to be able to send an invite).

Previously you could have a couple of thousand pending without too much trouble and now, even though it's not published by Linkedin, rumours are that the limit has been reduced to 500.

So it's ALWAYS good practice to delete any that are still pending after a couple of weeks.

And if you DON'T want to have to spend the time doing those individually, here's a method you can use to effectively automate that process.

1) Open up Chrome Browser (if you don't have it go to https://www.google.com/chrome/)

2) Click the three dots in the top right

3) Then on "add new bookmark"

4) In the window that pops up, Name it "cancel pending invites" and use the following javascript in the URL box:

5) Click "save"

6) Navigate to the following page: https://www.dhirubhai.net/mynetwork/invitation-manager/sent/

7) Whilst still on the sent invites page, navigate to the bookmark you've just created

8) And now the script will automatically start deleting your pending invites! To stop it just refresh or close the sent invites page!

And there you go!
