The world is witnessing lots of myths about health, and higher executives are more prone to disorders for a myriad of reasons. Bi-Proficiency is a campaign to bridge the gaps and fix all the loopholes in this regard.
With this newsletter, we aim to make executives aware of what they are losing, what must be done, and in which way! Wishing you a perfect pink of health and a happy reading as well!
The mere mention of the term Martial Arts gives us all a sense of something related to fighting or self-defense!
But this must be deemed as a crime against the amazing mind-body correlation concept that various forms of martial arts put forth.
All these forms of tactics have been time-tested multiple times to have a strong influence on personal & professional lives. Bringing out the best version of you, they empower you to discover your inner abilities while unleashing your true potential.
How?
Let’s delve into the details!
?
While majorly dealing with athletic & physical development, martial arts also train the most important part of the body, and that is your mind!
The majority of the obstacles that are encountered in the first phase of your amazing journey are basically psychological.?
And this you will experience yourself when you will start learning these arts.
Though physical development is fairly easier with constant conditioning mental alertness and solving those problems demands a high mental toughness.
And for this, a great deal of discipline is demanded!
Martial arts also develop your focus and attention. This translates to a better inclination in pushing the limits, and overcome obstacles, and makes you less likely to bend against the oppressions and fold under pressure or panic in the face of adversity.
2. Positive Disposition
Dedicatedly learning martial arts bring a multitude of positive impacts on your personal development regime. Health & wellness to psychological & mental to spiritual & subconscious enhancements- nothing remains untouched.??
Therefore one can easily conclude that martial arts training affects overall well-being, and this brings a more positive attitude toward life.
Content training makes one realize that it is only a calm & positive mind that gets you through a tough rough path.
And positivity is highly contagious. It influences every aspect of life- including your workplace.

3. Making a Great Team Player????
Generally, it is believed that martial art is a solo exercise but it demands you to function & perform in a group more. Self-discovery sessions and meditations, and some special moves are required to be practiced alone but in most cases, you will never have to execute them alone.
Working with different partners makes one realize the strength & weaknesses, and brainstorm plans to rectify the shortcomings of each other. This makes all realize their personal & team goal in unison.
This way, martial arts makes you a better team player.
4. Problem-Solving- Fast
As discussed above, martial arts develop mental toughness and physical power. Bringing out the best version of you makes you a clearer thinker.
In some of the disciplines like judo or Jiu-Jitssu, there are several instances where the problem is esoteric and the solution is not evident. Leveraging the skills and moves mastered, the practitioner can mentally simulate them with equations and can practically execute them.
Therefore, with your professional province and domain notwithstanding, the critical thinking and problem-solving methodology you mastered here will help you overcome all the obstacles- fast & easy!
5. Leadership Skills
Martial arts offer you the experience & selflessness required to lead better.
As one works with peers & masters, the training provides a platform to showcase your mastery, demonstrate the skills, and share knowledge with all.
In the corporate world, leaders need the same skill set. One needs to guide the teams, and most importantly leverage the skills to put them on the path to success. These skills are present in all but in a latent state. This latency needs to be transformed into a lively state. And martial greatly helps in this regard.
The cheerful positive persona, the lively charm, and the higher energy levels are the things that you cannot hide even wilfully. The teams and fellow mates assess this and get automatically charged up!
And that’s how great leaders make their mark.

1 年The response to this article tells all. Whilst I agree that "any" form of physical activity - running, swimming etc all have great benefit to ALL - not just CEO etc. The article reflects "self-indulgence" - a practice not found amongst the true martial art participants.
