How marriage and two screaming kids turned me into a part-time cyber security expert
I used to be a cyber security fanatic. I would spend hours every day reading books and articles on the subject, often finishing more than 100 pages of material in a single day. I was like a cyber security sponge, soaking up every bit of information I could get my hands on.
But then I got married and had two kids. Suddenly, my priorities shifted and I didn't have as much time to devote to my cyber security obsession. Now, I'm lucky if I can finish a single page of a cyber security book before one of my kids comes running into the room with a meltdown or a diaper emergency.
Though I don't have as much time to devote to cyber security as I used to, it's still a passion of mine. I may not be able to spend hours each day studying the latest threats and techniques, but I still try to keep up with the latest developments in the field.

I never expected to become a part-time cyber security expert. But between changing diapers and dealing with temper tantrums, I've managed to carve out some time to stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends. To stay on top of things, I've found some creative ways to stay informed, such as listening to cyber security podcasts while on diaper duty, and even using my baby's crib as a makeshift "command center" to monitor my home network. It's not exactly a traditional path to becoming a cyber security expert, but it's definitely kept things interesting!
So, even though my life has changed a lot since I got married and had kids, my love for cyber security hasn't. I may not be able to spend as much time on it as I used to, but it's still a big part of who I am. And who knows, maybe one day my kids will follow in my cyber security-obsessed footsteps.
