Here, for the first time, is the number of monthly active users (MAU) of X (ex-Twitter) in Europe, country by country.?
These figures have just been published by X, in its 1st "Transparency Report".?
This is a European obligation imposed by the Digital Services Act (DSA), the new regulation that governs tech giants on the Old Continent, notably in terms of content moderation.
In total, of the 448.9 million European citizens, 13.65% are still active on X on a monthly basis, i.e. 61,257,062 Europeans.
In absolute figures, France is by far the country with the most active monthly X users. Ahead of Spain and Germany.
X penetration rates
X penetration rates vary widely from country to country...
Luxembourg and Ireland are clearly at the top of this ranking, with almost 30% of their populations active on X. They are ahead of the Netherlands, Spain and France.
At the other end of the scale, countries with particularly low penetration rates include Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary and Croatia.
This is the first time since Elon Musk bought Twitter and took it off the stock market that X has officially published visitor figures for Europe.
This publication follows a similar one for LinkedIn.
How do you read these official figures?

11 个月We agree that a MAU is someone that connected at least once during the last 30 days ? if yes, I'm quite surprised by the figures in Belgium
