How many Software Companies Operate in Macedonia

According to statistics collected by the Macedonian Software and IT Association and private companies, there are approximately 180 software companies in Macedonia. More than 80% of them operate in Skopje, the capital city.

The largest of them is about 450 people. The top 10 largest companies turnover a revenue of over a million Euros.

Most Macedonian software companies serve as subsidiaries or offshore/nearshore satellite teams western European and North American firms.
