How many bird species can you hear singing in 60 seconds?
My challenge to you is to guess how many species of bird I recorded singing within 60 seconds of standing still whilst I took this photo on Friday 14th June.
It is a typical Sitka spruce stand and I used the Merlin App to make the recordings.
Bonus marks if you can name the species.

The list are; General: Wood pigeon, blackbird, wren Mature wood: Chaffinch, coal tit, robin, tree pipit, treecreeper.
