SEO is not just a search engine. But the good practice of Google SEO can improve the user experience of the website. What are SEO Friendly Articles?

SEO friendly articles are some content that helps search engines rank higher. Although some marketers think this means they want to fill it with keywords. But the main purpose is to help engines find, understand, and integrate this article. You are trying to cover.

What is an SEO example?

SEO stands for search engine optimization. Companies also looking for SEO to gain more insight into these products and services. And bring their company to the rank of search engine. How Many Authors Can Earn Money by Writing SEO Friendly Articles?

Everyone in the SEO Friendly Article writing industry has done this at least once with varying degrees of success. This is a near-passing ritual for working in tech and is a great way for modern companies to take notice of it.

Many people may have hated it immediately, but for some, it became their full-time profession. And we’re not talking about trying to be an Instagram celebrity or making the next floppy bird. Here, it’s all about freelance writing.

We are now at the peak of free will, which many experts think will continue. With a staggering 53 million Americans who will rate as freelancers and about 30% of them work with their core profession. Although there are no concrete numbers for how many freelance writers there are, estimates are high.

An easy search on Upwork, a script, or a Fiverr brings hundreds of thousands of freelance writers. Upwork has hired $600k + authors available to rent! But can you survive as a full-time freelance writer in 2020?

How Many Freelancer writer Can Earn Money by Writing SEO Friendly Articles?

Besides earning some extra cash, freelance writing is a great place to find out more about your industry. This is where I started tech. I always knew I wanted to work in tech, and from my writing experience, it was a great match. Just after graduation and writing about new startups for the first year, thousands of startups and founders approached me. It also allowed me to expand my skills and portfolio in the subjects I was passionate about.

One thing that stuck with me was how much awareness the salaries made between posts. Some of the most popular publications pay to the exhibition hoping to find new and exciting people like them. But some other small or niche sites and posts pay very well. Back when I was a new author and still, it makes little sense to me!

That’s why I’ve been wanting to investigate this phenomenon for some time. But they hurt me because the public doesn’t post their salaries publicly. Even when who pays authors for a very helpful article on the next web. According to their site:

Who Pays the Author?

[caption id="attachment_10780" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] Anonymous and compiled fundraiser posted by the freelance author above all, "Who pays the author" And how much. This list is primarily about writing publications. publications. We do Copywrite, advertising, corporate, or collect information about the sponsored content assignment.[/caption]

And after finding this gold statistic that illustrated some interesting trends, I knew we had to dig deep. So I did that and got lost in it like the forbidden forest.

To make this article a little easier to follow, I’ve broken it down into two parts: the first part will strictly report on our results after seeing who pays for the authors. The second part will be about the implications of these results and will bring some external data to writers across the country. But both will answer the final question: Can you survive as a full-time freelance writer in 2020?

PART 1: Who Pays Writers?

As mentioned above, Who Writes (WPW) is a great resource full of crowdfunding payroll rates and other important scales. Authors record their experiences with several publications, including Atlantic, BuzzFeed, XO Gene, and more. By the last count, their database contained over 500 publications with even more entries to work with. We can view the typical WPW entry below:

They break entries down by posts with “posts per word”, “style word count”, “article type”, “workload and relationship type”. They included “pay time” and “comment”, but these entries were not identical, so they were missing our data. If it interests you, they can view all our data.

For our dataset, I randomly submitted entries in 500+ posts over the past year. They excluded entries from previous years because most of them were not complete. We’re now joining the data!

Most Writers Make Less Than $0.25 A Word

Since all this research began with the desire to see how freelance writers get paid, we should probably start there. To make sure, I split it into two separate categories. They both show the same thing but are easier to see later. Besides, we looked closely at the pay per word of each article, but we also calculated the total salary for each article. Enter $0.02, a word on writing only 1000 words and $0.20 on 100 words that give you the same total salary. But the ways of this pay are different.

Since everything in this world has gone down on average, we found that the average salary per word was around $0.30. It depends on the seasonal experience you have as an independent you love or don’t like. And in fact, this is a high average, with 72% of writers making less than average. We can see the height of the data:

[caption id="attachment_10782" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] Since the data was a little too heavy, we broke it down a bit. That way we won’t draw the wrong conclusions later. The pay-per-word error can we see more accurately below. From these results, we can conclude that most freelance writers make up about 7 0.17 of a word or about half of the above average.[/caption][caption id="attachment_10783" align="alignnone" width="1038"] average pay per word[/caption]

For Top Authors

The top 10% of authors have it very well, which pays an average of over 30. 30 paise per word. But when we move down to the bottom of the authors, it gets a little more frustrating, in which the top half of the authors’ sample is half a half more than the word half.

To double-check our data, we analyzed the statistics for pay-per-view very early: counting only the number of articles within a carefully selected range. This method yielded very similar results, with most authors making less than $0.25 per word.

[caption id="attachment_10784" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] And most authors were not being compensated for their work (21 people) compared to those 1.50. Makeover 20 people. Like many other professions, be the leader to have a fantastic life. This belief is even more prominent and explicit in freelance writing. Some may freely afford their source of income, but again, they are only 10 authors. But honestly, most will not do enough to choose a career that will last a long time. But we’ll get into that in the second part of this article.[/caption]

80% of Writers Will Make Less Than $500 An Article

Now on pay per article data, which paints a similar picture of a struggling freelance writer. We’ll start with the average: The average salary per article is about $380. And again, this was high as an average of less than 5 percent of authors. This may seem like a lot of money per word graph, but the place where payments fall below average is fast.

[caption id="attachment_10785" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] Just like every word statistic, we break down paid article data into manageable chunks. It quickly became apparent that it was heavier than expected, more than double in the Top 1% article compared to the top 5%.[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_10786" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] This shows that there are some income inequalities.[/caption]

Average and the Authors Earned

Here, the top 10% received five percent more articles than the sample average and the authors earned three times more than the 50% above the authors, although in this case, the difference between the top and bottom 50% was slightly closer.

The authors reduce the top half by three times more than half. And finally, the top 10% of writers made 160 times more than the bottom 10% and 24 times more than the bottom 50% of writers.

[caption id="attachment_10787" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] To further illustrate that most free money lives with top authors, we break it down even more. Here, most writers do not make more than $250 per article and most make less than $100. They make up 62% of the sample, making less than $250 per article, and those making less than 500% make up over 83%.[/caption]

This is yet another finding that shows some people make that most freelance writing. At the top, 43 authors made more than 1000m in each article, and another 477 made less than $1000. When the total salary for both groups was also increased, it was closer than you think.

[caption id="attachment_10788" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] There is less than 10k difference between groups, with 94k and the rest 103k. If that doesn’t discourage you from being a full-time freelance writer, I’m not sure what will.[/caption]

Writing extra Words Does Not Guarantee Higher Pay Per Article

Writing longer articles than what we found directly above should help you make money writing online. But sometimes, this is not entirely true. We found that the average length was a reasonable 1,400 words. If you are having trouble imagining this, the length of this article is close to this part. 54% of articles are less than 1,400 words long, so on average, the sample is very accurate.

[caption id="attachment_10789" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] From there, we tried to determine the article’s perfect article length to maximize payments. But instead of knowing that more words led to higher charges, we saw something interesting: People who wrote longer articles, or more than 7k words received less than some other people. They blew away us to find that writing 4.5k more in each article word just made 90% more pay! This has happened against what most people expect, especially the hours they work.[/caption]

As you can see in the graph above, the maximum payment threshold was between 5K and 7K words per article. Even writing between 2.5k and 5k words makes the average payment higher than 7k +! If you want to get the maximum pay, we would recommend writing anywhere as long as it is interesting. If you want to keep the word count down but still make an average of over 380. per article, we would recommend shooting 1k to 2.5k words more reasonably well in each article.

Some confusion

It is important to remember that they should only use these results should only as leaders. Don’t expect to write 5k + words and just make one article almost a grand one. We have seen that many new and experienced writers still do not know how to value their words. Hopefully, this will overcome some confusion and confusion.

But Extra Effort On Articles Could Help

Aside from the payment and word count, the most interesting things we saw on the authors involved, was the money spent. They divide the effort into three distinct categories: small, medium, and heavy. Like all other variables, these authors report themselves, and this gives us some concern.

Initially, we feared that other variables might have led to the misrepresentation of results. For example, anyone who has written a 5k word essay with a little research can see it as a huge effort. And anyone who wrote a 1K word article that was rigorous research can also report heavy effort. Given the posts, the 5K article takes longer so they should pay it more.

[caption id="attachment_10790" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] But the fears we compare to both pay rise and word count for each level of effort. As the effort increased, the average salary for Little to Medium and Medium to Heavy increased by a steady rate of 68% and 87%.[/caption]

However, for the average length, the only difference is that there is an increase of 17% from just small to medium but 84% from medium to heavy. We believe that a slight increase in the number of small and medium efforts caused people to opt-out of the medium. As you can see in the pie chart, more than half of the sample chose medium effort. Many people do not want to admit that they have made little or no difference to a project or article.

The labor cost

Both steps show in your way that the higher the labor cost, the higher your salary. It also shows that being a good freelance not only takes skill but also good old-fashioned effort. It can be for finding and running leads, or just putting a lot of effort into supporting images or graphics. These components are important and come together to create an interesting, interchangeable and actionable article.

In conclusion, as an experience for the questions, we spent time on different levels. They’re estimated and assigned 10, 15, and 20 hours for each level. Based on this set of criteria, we found that applying a heavy level of work to an article is still the most rewarding, generating $38 an hour.

However, you can spend 10 hours working on articles before trying to make more profits for small- and medium-sized media. Also, with a little effort, a heavy article has to last only 6 hours on an article to do it in the long run. Again, this is just a thought experiment, but it can be useful when planning an article or project!

Old School Publications Pay Well.

Picking the right publication to pitch your next idea is tough. You want to make sure you will fairly treat and paid for your work! Based on personal experiences that not guaranteed at every publication. Although we cannot determine how you behave based on your data. However, we can give each author a guide on which they pay posts the most. Oh, and we included those who paid the worst, so you can avoid them from the beginning. Unless it is not about the money for you!

Top-paying Per World Publications

The top-paying per world publications were consistent publications that have a print and online presence. All the top 20 pay per word publications and nearly all the top 50 pay per word publications have a physical and online presence. The only example of an online special post in this group was Yahoo.

My theory is that most of the best paying publications established before internet journalism took off, so they have the money to pay contributors. They have the network or connections to make sure they get the best freelance writers.

[caption id="attachment_10791" align="aligncenter" width="730"] Maybe those publications, they run those publications as a full time, growing businesses and in contrast, some other just side projects for a group of enthusiastic people.[/caption]

Best Paid Publications

The best-paid publications on each word include $1.50 per word on the shed, up to $2.31 per word. At the lowest point, this group of posts still paid five times more per word than the average. To put this in perspective, the pay per article ranged from $200 for a very short article to $8000 for the top article in this group. At the top.

Last year it was the highest-paid public science publication. The average salary per article was a high 00 2500 per article (six times more than the average salary per an article in our sample). But when you are starting, do not expect to get higher pay. Like any other profession, a salary increase takes a few years.

Average salary

Now every word towards the worst payment in the post. Sorry, but that was it! In contrast to high paying posts, there were 16 out of the bottom 20 web-only posts per word. Of these publications, sites that are magazines or newspapers, they have been running for only a few years. Note: This count does not include over 20 publications that do not pay our partners, which we highlight in yellow above. But non-paid posts follow the same trends as low-paid posts.

The lowest payment per word is only $0.01 to $0.02 per word (33 times the sample average). The average salary for each article by this group was also low. At $23 per article (16 times less than our sample average). And if you want to know, there were over 150 entries with the post on which paid less than $0.05 a word.

Staying Friendly With Editors Is Key

Your network should comprise as many editors as possible, as full-time freelancers can attest to. Editors are big posts and contact them from day one. When you come across a big opportunity, you want to be that person or need a last-minute article. It may sound a little dramatic, but some can play the biggest role in your success or failure. Some editors have helped me a lot more than I know they will.

The relative portion of each entry that writes who writes implemented it. Those who promote a relationship with publishing had the highest average salary per article.

[caption id="attachment_10792" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] As you can see below, people who have an ongoing relationship with the editor, or assigned an article by an editor, received the highest pay.[/caption]

Twice as Much Per Article

Both types of relationships receive twice as much per article as compared to cold pitches. Although cold straps were the most popular type of relationship, they were not the most rewarding. And that expected, especially since editors sit in the inbox daily with tons of pitch. And even if you have the most interesting knot, they want to go with something safe. It’s not okay, but it is, and I’ve also taken Safe Pitch a few times.

When we looked at the top 50 publications on pay per word, they facilitated only 6 on a cool path. The majority wrote going forward or assigned by the editor. But as you move toward the bottom of the pay scale on every word scale, the frequency of cold pitches and submissions balloons.

While compiling this section, we also saw an amazing trend. If you think of each relationship as a different separation with the editor, this is a different pattern. For example, assignments will be the closest relationships and pay the highest salary in each subject. Then it goes down the line, and as relationships become less familiar, the pay goes down. It ends with a cold pitch that receives the lowest pay per article. And this trend confirms our belief that editors will be your best friends!

PART 2: The Implications

Now that we collect all the data presented on what authors pay, we should look at their implications. And if you’ve read everything by then, you know it’s not very good. We have already found that most writers will earn 5 0.25 per word and only around 250. But what does this mean for the overall integrity and growth potential of the industry? And why does anyone need to be a full-time freelance writer?

How much must you write to survive in each major city?

We think it will interest to see what it means to live in different cities as a freelance writer. For writers who want to move to a new city, or for those who want to become full-time freelance. For that reason, we chose cities based on how the author and creative friendly they are! It includes modern cities like New York and San Francisco, but also cost-effective cities like Kansas City and Portland.

For this analysis, we’re torn between living per capita income and household income use. Each had his power, but his flexibility ended up costing him a living. For those who are not familiar with the cost of housing, this is an estimate of the cost of basic living expenses such as food, housing and some other necessities in a particular city.

Usually, it’s used only to compare a handful of cities on a ratio basis, but we multiplied it to compare around 40 different cities! Here, we also use the publishing mica, known as New York City, as the real city, so every city is less expensive than NYC. We wanted to compare the cost of living directly to paying each word so it could convert the ratio into an annual salary.

50000 Salary in NYC

They set the salary at 50000 in NYC based on several factors, including the average salary of independent authors and the salary of other related professions. Because it is proportionate, and New York City is one of the most expensive cities to live in, most cities have a salary estimate of less than $ 40k. In my hometown of Kansas City, the salary used to compete is a little over half of NYC. It was 33000.

We can see the results at the top of this post, with the average word count already highlighted at $0.18 per word. Make sure that changes overall as you select different levels of postage. I expect them to break into the average salary of each of the four levels of publication, from top to bottom.

Some interesting results

The results will probably change you from moving to a modern city unless you are writing for 25% of the posts. Also, as fun and solid exercise, we compared the total number of keywords required for reasonable wages, so they could consider the word a classical book of the same length!

We are no longer moving the entire graphic but would still like to highlight some interesting results. It doesn’t matter where you need to write about 50k writers a month, or about 20k words a month, or the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Also, the bottom 25% have to publish more than 100k words or the Lord of the Ranges: King returns every month to live in most cities! And finally, some good news. You never must publish 15000 words a month if you split your time between 75% of your posts.

Again, it’s not done to discourage relative spirits from flying to a new city. It was more telling than living a comfortable life in a city requires more work than you might think. But if staying comfortable is not so important, the next few parts are perfect for you!

Publish 4000+ words a month just to meet minimum wage

It is worth starting to take a look at the minimum wage. Because based on some earlier data, many authors may not even earn an hour. For those not enacting legislation, the federal minimum wage per hour is.2 7.25. Some states, such as California and Oregon, have also increased the minimum wage by 9 hours per hour.

As a result, authors will have to work even harder to meet this baseline salary, with some cities applying a minimum wage of $15 shortly.

Although we can’t assign pay per hour to each article, we can analyze pay per word data and work backward. As we found out above, the average salary per word was $0.30, but it rose. To counter this skew, we looked at all salary fields in the graph below.

Minimum Wages

To earn the minimum wage, about $30 1230 per month, an average writer needs to publish exactly 4100 words per month. Again, it’s not just typing 4100 words. These words have to publish, and the author has to pay for the effort. And for the middle 50% of writers, that number jumps to about 7300 words that should publish every month. We can also break this down by counting an article which translates into approximately 14,400 words, articles per month for the average author.

[caption id="attachment_10794" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] Publishing these posts may not sound like much, but getting a minimum wage every month is a ton of work right now. According to research conducted by Care Fast, about 40% of their freelance sample made less than 10k last year. Worse, 23 full-time freelancers have made less than 10k at the same time.[/caption]

The Minimum wage employees

Minimum wage employees 15000 per year. Pays or receives a few thousand dollars depending on the state. But if these results accurately represent independent authors, one in four of the freelance writers earned less than the minimum wage last year. The quest for middle-income content for freelance writers has kept it tightly between 10000 and 20000 for all freelancers.

This lends credence to our belief that many freelance writers have made less than the minimum wage for their efforts. Frankly, they aren’t promising statistics if you want to become a freelance writer, and in the next section, things will look worse.

Publish 50,000+ words a month just to earn an average Monthly wages

After browsing the web for freelance author average hourly wages, we opted out. It used to average $20 to $30 an hour, but they knew no exact numbers. But even at the lowest estimate, it is still almost three times higher than the minimum wages which immediately showed that you need to spend almost every month to grow as a freelance writer. Must write a novel worthy content!

To make our analysis more accurate, we used four different wages to free up hourly pay for freelancers. Those wages were $15, 20, $25 and 30 per hour, as you can see in the graph below. Hourly rates give the author monthly salaries, 2550, 00 3400, 50 4250, and 00 5100, respectively.

[caption id="attachment_10795" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] Breaking it down, we hoped that most, if not all, would include brackets in our estimates of independent operators.[/caption]

The Top Authors

For top authors, this means posting a modest 30000 to 60000 words each month. In fact, for each of the 50 authors, the keyword count for each month is only 30000 words in any wage. These are all worthwhile goals for a driven, full-time author.

[caption id="attachment_10800" align="aligncenter" width="1038"] It only requires seven or eight 1,500 word articles a month. Or two long articles like this![/caption]

Average Author

For the average author who makes word 0.30 a word, the requirements are still not that high. But again, this average is a little too heavy, like any other estimate of wages. For these average authors, they will need to publish between 25000 and 30000 words per month. Or twelve out of 2000-word articles a month. This’s a very meaningful goal for a resume writer to earn money by writing SEO friendly articles.

Keyword count can’t come out of your middle unless we look at the middle 50% and the bottom 50 at. For the middle 50% of writers, they will need to publish 25000 to 30000 words a month to earn an average wage. Or post 1000 and 2000 words daily. We are guessing where most writers focus, which adds to the number.

An Average Payment

If you’re having trouble estimating how much to write in 30000 words, that’s about half of the average length per month. Some people spend a whole year publishing a novel, and at that rate, write six of them! Even if you only want to get 15 hours per hour, these are three novels of words published every year!

As we look at the publishing needs of the bottom 50% of writers, this is not possible physically. With an average payment of only 0.07 per word, they push the need between 35K and 75K words per month. This means you have to pay an average of 1.2k and 6k words per day to maintain an average wage, depending on the pay scale. As we said in the comparison above all, it would be almost like publishing a novel every month! If you write, we’re guessing your efforts could use elsewhere. As a content editor and marketing professional, that’s it!

In Conclusion of writing an SEO Friendly Article

I realize that I did not intend to paint such a depressing picture of a freelance state. And do not discourage any bright-eyed writers from trying to attack it on their own. Just like any other profession, there will be writers who have researched this system and made a lot of money. But who plays the authors and the rest of the data doesn’t lie, especially when it comes from the mouths of other writers.

I think the value of freelance writers has been declining in recent years, mainly in the tech world. We see designers and developers as more glamorous positions and outsourced to freelancers in writing. And not for the best writers. Sadly, in my experience, this is the cheapest job that gets assignments. As a result, it all lowers the wages of freelance writers and the business does not want to pay for better writers. Reducing payments is less than the minimum wage per hour, as we have found above. Start writing on coronavirus if you want to earn money by writing SEO friendly articles. Because everyone reading information above all the coronavirus updates.

This is an ugly cycle that needs to broke. And you can break it from this data.
