How to Manifest Your Desires – Top 5 Ways

Trying to accomplish a goal can seem like the hardest thing. Failing multiple times could even cause you to give up on your goals altogether. However, the answer to manifesting your desires and achieving what you want comes down to your mindset.

Your thoughts control your actions. So if your thoughts are not set right to achieve your goals, your actions will not help you to achieve them. Perhaps you have been wanting to save up for that new car, or you want to furnish your home. Whatever your goals are, it will all come down to setting your mind right.

That said, before we can talk about how to manifest your desires, let us first understand what manifesting means in the first place.

What is Manifestation?

To manifest is to make reality something that you desire through your thought process, feelings, and beliefs. Note however that it takes more than the right thoughts to get you what you desire. By setting your thoughts rights, you set the groundwork that will eventually determine your actions.

It is these actions that will be the precursor to achieving your dreams.

Let’s take a look at a few steps you can follow to ensure that you manifest your dreams.

1. Understand what you really want

Take a moment to think about what you really want in life. Is it to make more money, build a family, and have more status? Defining what you want is crucial to setting your thoughts and minds to work towards the achievement of your goals.

Consider what is important to you. This is not to say that you should go for what is easy and simple. This simply means that you should go for what you will find fulfilling regardless of the level of difficulty. Very often it is such kinds of goals which when achieved will make you feel proud of yourself.

If you are not able to pinpoint exactly what you want, try to list down your core values and what you believe in. Next, find out what you would enjoy doing and what would give you the most fulfillment.

2. Visualize your goals

Now that you know what goals you would like to achieve, picture yourself having actualized your goals. How does that feel? How does that look? Chances are the answer to both those questions is good. Now keep visualizing as you make the necessary steps towards that goal.

Note however that your goals may change. This may cause you to also change your visualization. At the end of the day, there is nothing wrong with changing your goals to much better goals. However, always remember to visualize where you want to be as you take the steps towards attaining your goals.

If you are having a problem with visualization, you can try certain techniques such as meditation. Through this practice, you create a space inside your mind for images that will give you the motivation you need to work towards achieving your goals and reaching your self-actualization.

3. Take the necessary steps

Now that you understand your goals and you know exactly what you would want to achieve, the next step is to take action. Note that you will need to remind yourself that there is no right moment and the best choice is to start immediately. Otherwise, you are likely to just procrastinate.

The main risk with overthinking is that you attain your goals might start to seem scary and unattainable. This is another reason why you should make the main step to take the first step. Even while you feel that you are not ready, the first plunge is always the scariest. You will then be motivated to take the second and the third step.

One trick is to divide and conquer. Instead of viewing the project or goal as one big task, break it down into smaller sections. View these smaller sections as stairs leading you to your end goal. Once you are through with the first step, you will be motivated to complete the second step. Continue this way until you finally reach the top.

4. Be grateful for what you already have

All of us have something that the next person doesn’t. It is important to recognize this and to take full advantage. Never take anything for granted. Utilize your resources and your talents towards the achievement of your goals.

On top of that, be grateful that as you read this, you are learning how to manifest your desires. Not everyone gets the chance to do learn how to manifest their desires and make them a reality.

Many of us tend to focus more on what we want in life and what we don’t already have than we already have. Appreciating what you have is positive energy and will only lead to more things in your life.

Start by making a list of all the positive things in your life and be grateful for them. Then find out how you can use them towards achieving your goals.

5. Avoid any limiting and discouraging thoughts

It is all too easy to let any negative thoughts fester. However, it is important to constantly remind yourself that you stand more to gain and that any limitations will be overcome. This will keep you in the game and prevent you from discouraging yourself when times get tough.

Never overthink anything. Instead, go full-on towards your goals. Even while you fail, you can come out of it with highly incredible and important life lessons. By learning to avoid previous mistakes, you will be one step closer to actualizing your goals.

Remember that the only losers in life are those who quit. Failures are the best teacher because they help you navigate your way towards your goals.

Whenever you experience a failure, take time and understand what happened and what caused you to fail.

Always find the motivation to go forward and achieve your goals. At the end of the day, the only one who can stop you should be you.

This is especially true with money. Our money thoughts originated in early childhood and they rule our lives, unless we become gain awareness & befriend them. The upside is that we can change our whole relationship to money and the amount we have, just by becoming less reactive to those same old, same old thoughts.
