How to Manage Stress With Mindfulness

How do we manage stress with mindfulness?

?? If you are like me, you want to be your best in your work and career but also in your health and relationships.

This takes a big-picture look at life and let's face it, it takes a mindfulness practice.

?? All self-improvement begins with awareness.

And self-improvement is developed with mindfulness practices.

I like to start by assessing what area of life needs the most attention.

Yes, it can be that simple!

Many people think mindfulness means sitting and meditating.

That may be a great thing for all of us to do, but we can start with just being aware.

I personally believe that your health is pivotal in success in all other areas of life, so I often recommend starting there. (but not always)

?? If you have a lot of stress and you are intent on building your business or career, it can seem like a waste of time to stop and be mindful or to focus on your health.

But this is time well spent.

When you practice mindfulness simply by noticing what areas of your life need attention, you are well ahead of the game, trust me.

Sometimes we feel stressed simply because we know SOOOOO much needs attention!

???? But when we stop and take stock we can begin to make a list of priorities then we can reduce overwhelm.????

So, if you have a lot of stress and you are committed to being your best, start there.

Sit down, and make that list.

Hash out what needs to be done and when.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

And don't forget to list out only things you CAN control.

Many people create more stress and overwhelm by focusing on things they cannot control like other people or past mistakes.

This is a waste of energy!

?? Focus on small action steps you can take.
