How to handle the Millennial population
The most important thing is transparency. A culture of transparency is what every Millennial wants. They want to work at an organization that practices openness with its employees. Transparency is regarded as one of the most valued traits by this generation.
Millennial do not accept closed-door meetings in or policies dictated by the workplace. Instead of a hierarchical approach to crucial matters of business, they prefer, things are laid out at an organizational level. While this may sound difficult in practice to a business owner or manager, it is not impossible to implement. This is especially effective when you are serious about managing Millennial employees with minimal waste of time and effort.
Allow them to work with a flexible schedule makes their lives easier and enable them to be more productive towards their tasks.
Management must make better work-life balance for their employees. All of this contributes towards letting the employee know that their personal life is respected and valued, as it should be. In addition to a work-life balance, Millennials pay a great deal of attention to the value of learning and growth in their career and they are willing to change their jobs to access this perk.
