How to Manage Conflict

How to Manage Conflict

“The Law of Win/Win says, 'Let's not do it your way or my way; let's do it the best way'."?Greg Anderson

Raise your hand if you enjoy conflict! Not many takers?

You may get nervous or upset when faced with potential conflict. You may try to avoid addressing the issue or placate the other person and give in to their demands. You may insist on getting your own way, with dreadful consequences to your relationship. You may feel hurt or angry and say things you wish you hadn’t said. You may feel unsafe.

While conflict is inevitable in any relationship with thinking, feeling human beings, it doesn’t have to be devastating or even uncomfortable. Conflict is not always bad. Differences of opinion are necessary for new and creative ideas to grow.

But it’s important to have and use alternative responses, depending on the situation. Unfortunately, many of us are stuck using the same conflict strategy we learned as children, even if our habitual conflict management strategy is no longer working for us.

Join me for this three-hour virtual, highly participatory workshop on April 14th at 9:00 am PST, 11:00 am CST, and 12:00 pm EST.

I have been a trainer and management consultant for over thirty years. ?All my workshops build skills you can use immediately. My energy and sense of humor, along with my practical tips and recommendations, will ensure that your learning experience will be comfortable, useful, and enjoyable.

You will leave the workshop knowing when to use five different options for responding to conflict, understanding how your personal beliefs impact your ability to manage conflict, and ready to use win/win negotiation to resolve conflict situations. The workshop is $127. You can register at https://bit.ly/3M6bG0u

I look forward to seeing you!

May your learning be sweet and safe.
