How to manage cash flow?

How to manage cashflow? Is cashflow - one of the most important thing in business? How to manage it in tight budget?

I would like to share my experience regarding managing cashflow.

I understand that I'm not a finance person, but almost 99% of the Chocola Cafe 's operation, marketing, etc is managed by me

Managing cashflow is not easy - especially if you have to be Chief Everything Officer in your start up. But, you should be glad because your knowledge will be much upgraded & you will know all aspects in business earlier in your early age.

Cashflow / operation is one of the most important aspect in any startup business, beside marketing (I can say it's the 2nd most important). But, in f&b or restaurant business, operation is the most important part - hand in hand with marketing.

We should do marketing first, before we do operation - yes, correct ??

But, when the business run, we also able to delay the other marketing strategies & expenses, & make sure the operation run smoothly and well managed first - especially if your finance is still tight.

Then how to manage cashflow?

Keep your operational cost / any expenses tightly - as much as you can. Improve your negotiation skill. Every little expenses is still an expense.
