HOW TO MAKE ZAMBIA RICH IN 10 YEARS

Zambia will never develop as long as we continue persecution of the rich people. In Zambia, the rich have been persecuted from the time of Kaunda to date. As a result, the people with money hide it to avoid the Police, DEC, ACC. One of the people that was always followed by these institutions was The President HH also known as Bally. Prison became his other home all because if his wealth and ambition.

What the government must do is to create millionaires in USD right here in Zambia. The budget of Zambia is not a very good budget, as it creates more poor people than the rich. All the time when we borrow money, we shoot ourselves in the foot. We live an artificial life which will collapse when time to pay back comes.

To set Zambia on the right path, the Budget of Zambia must focus on deliberately creating millionaires by the government getting directly involved in making these millionaires rather than taking a spectator approach as the case is right now.

The government must identify 100 people every year with the sole purpose of making them millionaires. These people must be trained, financed and supported to the point that their businesses become self sufficient in 5 years. The government must own a 5% share in the businesses but the rest must be privately owned.

When 100 people become millionaires you will be creating real employment, not just GRZ employment but employment that will change Zambia forever. Each millionaire would employ a minimum of 1,000 people. This would mean employment creation of 100,000 jobs. In five years time, 500,000 jobs would be created in the private sector by direct intervention of the government.

It is crucial that Zambia develops millionaires. The system currently in place of Constituency Development Fund, and also the Citizen Economic Empowernment are unable to create millionaires in USD. These institutions are just maintenance institutions and very very very few people will benefit from them to become rich.

There must be a different system developed to make people rich, not by application, but by identification.

For example, the man making fuel using plastics is an ideal person for the government to make into a millionaire. He has the idea that has been proved and all he needs is training funding and support. If his idea is funded on a very large scale, machinery can be bought from China or Germany, a plant can be set up for him and then filling stations constructed. This would make this person become a millionaire. The people to be employed would be all the chemical engineers CBU is producing, Civil engineers and Industrial Engineers. Two big plants can be constructed in the Coperbelt and Lusaka. This would lead to a direct creation of 3,000 jobs and spin off of 6000 jobs for supporting industries.

Another example is Investrust Bank Zambia Limited which is 100% owned by Zambians. This bank has a lot of history and sadly, the owner of the bank was in the past, fought by the system left right and centre. If the government had to invest in the bank massively, it can have branches at all districts in Zambia, with very good offices and infrastructure. The banking processes would be improved and also the systems. A direct job creation of 5000 jobs can be made at a minimum. This would take up most of the people that have studied banking and finance and also business administration and HR.

Other businesses include Muvi TV, Diamond TV, UNILUS, Rockview University and Ubuntu Initiative. I have mentioned these because they are well known institutes but there are many others that can be identified and supported.

The aim is to deliberately create 100 millionaires in Zambia per year. At the end of 5 years, 500 millionaires would be made or be in the process of making so much that they become independent in 10 years time.

The government must start graduating 500 millionaires every 5 years in Zambia. This would lead to complete eradication of poverty in 30 years from 2023. Infrastructure would improve across the country and all other aspects of life.

Zambia must have millionaires to grow. The politics of always arresting Faith Musonda will not take us anywhere if we do not have a tangible plan for development.

In China, people that are corrupt are killed. Yes, corruption exists in China but there is a strong stance to discourage it. The Chinese people are very loyal to their country. We can change the culture of people right here in Zambia. Zambia, with a population of about 21 million people is a young vibrant country that has everything to its favour. We just lack strategists, people to think and execute the ideas. Further there is no system to hold people in public offices accountable.

We can make Zambia rich in 10 Years time but to do this, we need new blood, new thinking, new systems and new people to get the wheels of development turning.
