Ever feel like your LinkedIn posts aren’t bringing you results despite your best efforts? If your LinkedIn profile is up to date and you’re actively sharing posts, but it feels like they aren’t really landing, it might be time to go back to the basics.
What do you need to understand to write strong posts:
- Who You’re Talking To?
- What You Offer?
- THIS WEEK ?? What Makes You Stand Out
Figure Out What Makes You Stand Out
There are likely many others who do something similar to you. What makes you different from them on LinkedIn? Maybe it’s your personal experience, a unique approach, or a particular skill set.?
Let's break down how you can figure out and highlight what makes you stand out with three actionable steps:
1. Do What Works for You
Using other people’s strategies for your posts but not seeing results? Here's the thing: What works for someone else might not work for you. You’re unique, and you need to look at your own data and performance indicators for guidance. It’s simpler than it sounds.
Start by defining what result you want. For example, if your goal is to have more chemistry sessions, use the number of bookings as the success indicator. Don’t let impressions and likes distract you form your goal (unless, of course, popularity is what you’re after).
Then look at your past posts. Which ones were most successful in terms of your goal? Focus on creating more of what works. LinkedIn provides basic analytics. Make it a weekly or monthly habit to check with them and back up your content strategy with solid data.?

2. Show What Makes You Unique
You don’t have to invent anything new to make yourself special. You already are. Your unique story, background, experiences, and personality set you apart. All you need to do is show it.
How? Share stories and testimonials. Think about a time you solved a big problem or achieved a great result. Share that story in a post. If you have happy clients, ask them for testimonials. Share these experiences to show how you’ve helped others.
3. Use Your Real Voice
If you are a service provider, this is especially important for you: People will decide about working with you based on personal sympathies. Then they will back up their decision by looking at your offer, but not even a fantastic offer can fix it if your potential client doesn’t feel the vibe.
A common mistake I see is posts that sound like reports, essays, or diary entries. Write your next post as if you’re talking directly to someone you know, perhaps your ideal client. Before you hit publish, read it out loud. Does it sound like you? If not, adjust it. This simple trick makes your content feel real, personal, and relatable.?

How to Talk to Them: Share stories that relate to their daily struggles and frustrations without explicitly pointing out their shortcomings.
Story Example: "When I first started my business, I faced the same challenges many of you do today. I remember struggling to find clients and build my brand. It wasn’t until I discovered the power of networking and sharing valuable content that things started to change…."
