How to Make Window-Cleaning Easier

Not everyone has special tools just lying around their home. So, if you don’t have a?brush attachment?for cleaning your blinds, you can find replacements in common objects that you already own. For example, you can use cotton mittens and run them over your blinds.
If you have cellular shades, you can clean them up with a feather duster. Faux wood blinds are easier to clean, all you need is a slightly damp cloth.
2. Work Smarter, not Harder
If you tilt the slats down on your blinds, you will be able to get so much more dust from the surface.
Before you get down to it, be sure to test out on a small surface when using water, especially for fabric blinds. This way, in case something goes wrong, you won’t ruin the whole blind.

After you’ve cleaned your blind thoroughly, don’t forget to wipe them with a sheet of fabric softener. This will help prevent dust from building up in the future.
