How to Make Time to Exercise

If you want to do something, you will find a way. Follow these 7 ways to make time to exercise.
1 – Schedule your time spent on facebook, twitter, pinterest and other social media. For instance, only log in twice a day, and limit it to 20 minutes each.
2 – On Sunday of each week, write your workouts for the week. If you don’t know how to create a structured program, hire a certified personal trainer to do this, even if you aren’t meeting with the trainer on an ongoing basis.
3 – Schedule your workout sessions like meetings. Write them in your calendar or program them in your phone. Set a reminder alarm, or two, if necessary.
4 – Write a weekly grocery list. Shop on Saturday. Cook on Sunday. Store food in Tupperware-type containers by portion. If you aren’t sure how what foods to buy or the proper portion size, hire a nutrition coach to help you get started. To make it even easier, you can follow a meal plan or buy freshly prepared meals made specifically for you.
5 – If you exercise in the morning, lay out your clothes the night before. If you exercise after work, pack your gym bagthe night before. Include toiletries, towel, water bottle, and your socks and shoes. Add a bottle of water or headphones.
6 – Always carry a couple of back up foods in case you get stuck somewhere. Examples are a shaker bottle with protein powder or a protein bar. Click here for the protein and here for the bars to learn which I recommend and how to buy them at lower than typical retail prices.
7 – Tell your family and friends what you are doing and why, and ask for their support.
After just a couple of weeks, it will become a habit and part of your routine, and you’ll wish you would have done this a year ago!
