It was a privilege and an honor to partner with Programs for Parents, Inc., to deliver a day of communications training to this incredible group of people who are making a huge difference for the families and children of New Jersey. Programs for Parents, Inc. mission is to ensure that children get the best possible start in life.?They accomplish this by promoting quality child care services within the community. A special thanks to all of these people who showed up with energy, were willing to get uncomfortable to grow and for sharing their stories. CKA Atlanta Chapter Launches with a Celebration of Culture and Leadership! ??? Our Atlanta Regional Chapter officially launched at Minhwa Spirits, an Asian American-owned soju distillery, on October 19. This exciting event connected members of the Korean American community while celebrating CKA’s growing presence in Atlanta. Guests enjoyed delicious food from Ganji, a Korean American fusion popup, and spirits provided by Minhwa Spirits, where a stunning mural by Julia Chon (Kimchi Juice) paid tribute to our vibrant culture and roots. ???????? Led by LifeHikes? Coach Kesner LaGuerre, this workshop gave 17 participants tools to enhance their media presence and leadership skills. Participants learned how to elevate their executive presence, handle tough media questions, and connect with audiences through powerful storytelling. A huge thank you to the Atlanta Steering Committee for putting together the launch event, jin lee at Catalyst Coalition for hosting the media training, Minhwa Spirits, Ganji, and all the local leaders who supported the Atlanta Chapter launch. Special thanks to Sunny Park for delivering inspiring remarks, and to Coach Kesner LaGuerre for leading the impactful media training. ?? ?? #CKARegionalChapters bring CKA’s mission to life by fostering leadership, collaboration, and deeper connections within local communities. Led by local Steering Committees and Regional Advisors, each chapter organizes events, promotes volunteerism, and strengthens networks among Korean American and AANHPI leaders. This initiative amplifies CKA’s impact regionally while advancing our values and pillars across the nation.

Together, we delved into new ways to communicate with impact, show up powerfully, and lead with empathy—especially in the face of challenging questions.
