How to make profit from your passion

Profit in your business will not happen overnight. I don’t care what the gurus out there tell you - turning a profit is not easy, especially in the first 5 years of businesses.
So if it’s not easy, what makes it more sustainable? Ensuring that you want to commit to the hard work that is - running a business.
I’ll tell you my friends - it’s passion.?
Yet many of the women I work with find it tricky to pin down what they are passionate about when it comes to work; enter IKIGAI - the Japanese whole life concept that doesn’t believe in work life balance.
It believes in a sweet spot in the middle. One which combines what you love, what the world needs, what you are good at and what you can be paid for.?
It’s this last concept that I would like to draw your attention to. I will go one step further in the concept of IKIGAI and suggest that if you don’t lean into passion as an entrepreneur and focus purely on what the world needs and what can bring a profit for example - you will likely burn out and quit what you are doing in the long run. Or continue with heartache until you’re at retirement age and wonder why you didn’t do things differently.?
So how can you dial into your passion?
Here’s some activities I suggest to get you started:
Where have you been successful in your life??
Where and when have you felt the most purpose??
Taking the time to answer these coaching questions will lead you closer to your heart’s desire.?
The most effective profit model I have used:

(If you remember my last blog - what’s working is not just what’s successful - it’s also what you enjoy doing and pricing it accordingly)
2. Doubling down could mean - doubling the number of participants. Doubling the number of times you offer the services. Doubling the price.
3. Which one of the above aligns most with your company and personal values??
4. When you’ve chosen which one aligns - then work out what needs to happen to make it happen.?
5. Make it happen. Make the decision and move forward.?
I’ll say it again. Becoming a profitable business, without investment and funding is hard work. If you’re passionate you’re more likely to succeed.?
It’s time to take your passion seriously - and stop leaving yourself short of living a life you truly love.?
I love hearing how you all get on with these doses of info and support - so share away. I like to feature examples of female founders doing great things - so don’t be shy!
Can’t wait to see your passion shine through - just make sure you’re not sat there waiting for the passion to show up.?
Lots of love, Lucienne xx
